7 (seven) ways to make money online (without sacrificing your sleep schedule)

Easy ways to make money online

By SandraPublished 3 years ago 4 min read

It’s no secret that there are loads of ways to make money online – some more popular than others. In fact, the online job industry is growing so rapidly that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates it will increase by 32% in the next decade, reaching 7 million jobs by 2026! But with so many ways to make money online, how do you decide which one(s) are right for you? To help you answer this question, here’s how to make money online without sacrificing your sleep schedule!

1) Affiliate Programs

One way to earn money on the internet is by taking surveys. These surveys are offered by a lot of different companies, and they usually pay between $3-6 per survey. If you take three a day, that's $18-$36 in one day! For most people, it takes less than 30 minutes to complete all three surveys.

Another way is through affiliate programs. Affiliate programs are great because they don't require any previous experience or qualifications.

2) Freelancing Sites

If you're looking for a way to start making money, freelancing sites are a great place to start. Freelancing sites like Upwork and Fiverr let you offer your services in exchange for an hourly rate. You can also find clients on these sites who need help with specific tasks, so you'll never run out of work! The downside? Depending on how popular the site is, it may be difficult to compete with other freelancers for jobs. Another downside is that most of these sites take at least 20% of your earnings as a fee. A final drawback is that many of these websites expect payment up front, which means you won't get paid until after the job is complete and approved by the client.

3) Fiverr

Fiverr is an online marketplace where people can offer a variety of professional services starting at $5. Fiverr is often the best place for freelancers and entrepreneurs to start when looking for work, but it can also be a great place for people who want to stay in the comfort of their own home. For example, if you have a talent that you're passionate about like playing guitar or making jewelry out of crystals, you might list your service on Fiverr and enjoy having more time with friends or family. Another way to use Fiverr is by completing orders from other sellers that don't have enough time or motivation to fulfill them themselves. If someone needs 100 social media posts created for them within 24 hours, they might post on Fiverr asking for help with this order.

4) Ebay

EBay is one of the easiest places to list and sell items for a profit. All you need is an account, a basic understanding of how eBay works and then some patience. It’s easy to use and you can be up-and-running in less than ten minutes! Just remember that they do charge a small listing fee per item so be sure to factor that in when determining what your final selling price will be.

You can also sell products on Amazon or Craigslist as well, but I find them less time efficient than eBay.

5) Online Survey Sites

One way to make money online is through taking surveys. When you take a survey, you are given a specific set of questions from the organization sponsoring the survey. The answers you give are used in market research and product development.

Some of the more popular sites for taking surveys include:

1. Survey Junkie 2. Pinecone Research 3. Harris Poll 4. Opinion Outpost 5. Soma Insight 6. Swagbucks 7. Ipsos I-Say

6) Micro Tasks

Micro tasks are a great way to spend some time while making a few bucks. Many websites offer this type of work, and you can find them by searching for micro tasks or gig economy on Google. You can then sign up for an account with the site that interests you and start working. Sites like Amazon Mechanical Turk pay out a penny for every task completed, so it might be worth looking into! Before jumping into anything, do your research first and read about the company's policies. Read reviews from previous employees and check what kind of hourly rate is offered before joining. Try taking surveys instead: Surveys will ask you about everything from opinions to shopping habits to what you plan on doing in the future. For most companies, completing surveys will result in at least $1 - $5 per survey depending on length and difficulty level, but there are also plenty who pay more than $5 per survey!

7) Kickstarter/IndieGoGo

Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing campaign, so if you fail to meet the goal then you lose everything. On the other hand, IndieGoGo charges a 9% fee only if the goal is met. This can seem like a small detail, but it can mean thousands of dollars in earnings for you. I personally prefer IndieGoGo because they are much more relaxed when it comes to backing projects, and have some really cool features that I love. It’s worth checking out both sites to see which works best for you! You can also try these five other crowdfunding sites if you're looking to expand your options. Get Paid To Test Products: Companies will pay people just to test their products and give feedback on them. These product tests might include beauty products, food items, etc., depending on what company is conducting the research. The tests usually last between 30 minutes and two hours, with each one earning around $50-$75.
