Even if we find it tedious to seek advice from our elders most of the time, receiving life counsel from those who live life to the fullest and cheerfully is a wonderful experience.

Take a look at these recommendations to remind yourself how valuable our one and brief life is.

Titles from elders are included below, along with annotations from myself.

1. Life isn't always fair, but it's still lovely!

Many underserved people will be in really good situations all around you.

You don't see them since you're focused on your own objectives and working hard to achieve them.

2. Don't waste your time hating someone because life is so short.

Hatred of people we don't like causes a lot of physical harm.

As I've discussed in previous posts, don't spend too much time with such folks and avoid being around them.

3. No one should be overly serious about themselves!

On this subject, I'll share one of my favorite words with you.

"There are a lot of people that are indispensable in cemeteries."

4. Pay your credit cards on a monthly basis.

Personal financial management is critical.

It is impossible to manage major projects and corporations if you cannot manage your own budget.

5. You are not required to win every debate. Accept it and let it go on occasion.

I've written a comprehensive article on the issue. It's definitely worth a look.

6. Crying on another person's shoulder is preferable to crying alone.

It's far too short to spend it alone.

Find a life partner or a small group of close buddies.

7. Start putting money aside for retirement as soon as you get your first paycheck.

Beginning with your first salary, begin saving for retirement.

You will be perplexed by the passage of time.

Savings begun at a young age will make you a billionaire by the time you reach middle age.

8. There's no need to be a chocoholic when it comes to chocolate.

It is preferable to eat a modest piece of chocolate than to go hungry.

9. Make peace with your past so that your future is not tainted.

Forget about the past mistakes you've committed.

Allow yourself 5 minutes to forget and think when you are experiencing nasty or negative feelings.

Then entirely forget about the subject and concentrate on the objectives in front of you.

10. It's fine for your children to see you cry.

One of the most natural human actions is crying.

Don't be afraid to cry whenever and wherever you want.

11. Don't compare your life to other people's lives.

You have no idea how they ended up in this situation.

12. If you don't want your relationship to be known, you shouldn't be in it.

Don't do anything you won't be able to justify.

If you can use this in both your professional and personal life, you will be very satisfied.

13. Having a joyful childhood is never too late.

It is totally up to you to relive your childhood, and no one can stop you!

You may perform the activities that youngsters do and have things that they couldn't do in the past if you want to.

14. You should pursue your passions in life and refuse to accept "no" as an answer along the way.

When you look at successful business professionals, you'll see that they're all persistent in pursuing their goals. They all succeeded in the end.

15. Use your finest dinnerware, light your beautiful candles, and arrange your gorgeous linens. Don't wait for extraordinary occasions; today is one of them!

Don't put off using goods. When you die, you won't be able to take them with you. We don't know what will happen tomorrow, so today is the most important day. Don't be hesitant to put it to use.
