Peace; blessings; and much favor to one as well as all, except for those who presently run the country. They can go kick rocks; play in traffic; and/or fly a kite during tornado season, without a coat (Rest In Power to the late, great MF DOOM).

Seriously though, these rules are regrettably so pertinent and poignant because of the current administration’s arguably asinine odiousness. “At me.”

In any event, I’m going to attempt to keep this one short and sweet. One parter; no more, no less. If you don’t agree with every single aspect of this post, then congrats: You feasibly are a free thinker; and/or just need to marinate on it more.

Either which way, much appreciation to one and all who give their time; talent; and/or treasure to this particular post if mine. Without further ado; and here’s to you, the reader—

1.) Patience is a virtue’s virtue. That is: It’s not just a virtue; though, quite feasibly the highest of virtues.

There’s an adage of a proverb which asserts that almost all wisdom can be summed up in two words: “‘Hope’ and ‘wait.’”

Also, I oft have flashbacks to an infamous horror movie franchise; wherein a hero accidentally killed his partner by making the honest mistake of confusing a safety stand down timer with a life and death countdown. Had he opened the door to save the homie a half a second later…

2.) Timing is the natural progression for this particular list. If one is capable of being in the right place; at the right time; and in the right uniform, there’s nearly no limit to their feasible success in the U.S. military.

That’s something that almost any and every senior drill sergeant/instructor will swear to; if I’m not mistaken. Helpful hint: Could hardly be be more on point with that last one; counterintuitive as my horn tooting is in and of itself.

3.) Military mindset is the next tenet; and it’s technically a trifecta, or a trifold point. On the one hand: Almost every single military minded individual has the self-awareness and/or sense of identity to know that they are militant.

Secondly, the folks who could survive in almost anyone’s military are relatively resilient/enduring. They, nine times out of ten, are persistent/consistent to an astonishing degree; simple and plain.

And, thirdly: Military members of all stripes have the categorically patented characteristic of being highly respectful/respectable/respected. When I was in, we use to joke and say that our Canuck counterparts could complete their missions flawlessly damn near; right before apologizing profusely to their respective surviving enemies/foes/targets.

Lastly, in this regard: What’s more attractive to the average modern American woman (who aren’t known for being particularly frivolous when choosing mates)

4.) Effective communication is an essential and extremely underrated skill in a world that runs on the very same. Ever knew of someone who had the gift of gab who was wholly unable to acquire what they wanted/needed more oft than not?

“Coincidence? I think not!”

5.) Biblical wisdom is another key factor that is often overlooked. There’s likely solidity in the reasoning that King Solomon is revered in Judaism; Christianity; and Islam.

6.) Business acumen could’ve saved many a marriage; romantic relationship; and/or friendships. “Can’t eat; sleep; nor poop in the free world without the almighty dollar.”

7.) An attitude of gratitude will adjust your latitude. Nevermind the factoid that it’s decidedly the highest of vibrations.

8.) Balance is widely considered one of the key fundamentals of most successful endeavors. Whether it be entrepreneurial; economic; and/or educationally experiential…

9.) Self-determination is a key component to success in the modern day and age. “That’s just what it is.”

10.) Understanding is understandably a vital part of a successful life from these days that we live and learn in at present. If there’s no mutual understanding between a team/group of team?on a collaborative effort…

11.) Peacefulness is not to be overstated as a means to an end. There’s a legitimate list of reasons that historic legends such as Gandhi and MLK (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) were staunch proponents of nonviolence as their primary causes.

It’s not a flawless strategy; by any stretch of imagination. Especially let Brother Malcolm and his famous speeches tell the tale.

12.) Without Love, nothing we do is really and truly of consequence. That’s biblical Truth that is timeless.

And, 13.) Luck, aka preparation/dedication, is the antithesis to procrastination; which may/may not be the sworn antagonist of success. This wisdom is regrettably missed on far too many of today’s turbulent times (IMHO [in my humble opinion]).

Furthermore, see Deadpool 2; if you’re somehow still living under a rock. “You’re welcome.”

Imagine a world where none of these tenets were taken seriously; or worse yet, they became wholly irrelevant to the interests of the so-called leadership of the peoples of this palpably beautiful planet. Woe are we.

Woe are we indeed; and indubitably even, if I may. Or, if you will…

Prayerfully, you gained something pertinent (re: useful) from this post. If so, then please think about considering a show of support; however you may deem appropriate.

Additionally, I'm easily reachable via Twitter. That's for private and/or public convos on the works written by me, my fav writers, as well as my other influences too.

The link in my bio will “indubitably” have that unmistakable tab in its main menu. One that invariably; and cyclically returns you to my profile on this unfathomably superb site for writers, as well as readers.

Shoutout to all Vocal's inventors/staff/readers/writers. “[Y'all] the real MVP.”

Lastly, if you're in the market for an incredulously original article of clothing or such: There's copious amounts at the aforementioned link in bio. Please don't believe for a tick in an NY minute that I'll be even remotely unappreciative of any all who help, “look out for the cookout.”

Peace; blessings; and much Love, even. *Salute.*
