You're Going to Make It
You're Going to Make It
You're Going to Make It
Encouragement for the Weary Soul
There are moments in life that feel unbearable. When the weight of responsibilities, pain, or loss begins to feel like too much, it's easy to wonder if you'll ever make it through. But right here, right now, I want to remind you of this unshakable truth: You're going to make it.
Not because you're the strongest. Not because everything makes sense. But because God is with you, and He is greater than anything that stands against you.
1. God is Present — Even in the Fire
You may feel like you're walking through fire — but you’re not walking alone. In Isaiah 43:2, God gives us a powerful promise:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.”
This verse doesn’t say if you walk through the fire — it says when. Trouble is a part of life, but so is God’s faithful presence. His presence doesn’t prevent the storm, but it protects and preserves you through it.
2. It's Okay to Be Weak — His Strength Will Carry You
You don’t have to pretend to be okay. You don’t have to carry the world on your shoulders. When your strength runs out, that’s when God steps in with His.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9
God never asked you to be strong enough. He only asked you to trust Him. Sometimes, survival itself is victory. Taking another breath, getting out of bed, choosing to hope again — those are acts of strength when you’re weary.
3. This Pain Has a Purpose
God never wastes pain. Even the hard seasons are shaping you, growing you, refining you. You may not see it now, but something beautiful is being built from what feels like ashes.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28
You might not be able to trace His hand, but you can trust His heart. He is writing a story, and the chapter you're in now isn't the end.
4. There is Joy Ahead
Right now, the night might feel long. But morning will come. Just as the sun rises after the darkness, joy will rise again in your life.
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
Joy isn’t the absence of hardship — it’s the presence of God in the middle of it. And that joy is your strength.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10
5. Keep Going — God is Not Finished With You Yet
The fact that you're still here means God isn’t done with you. He’s still working, still fighting for you, still writing your story.
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you
will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6
You may feel like giving up, but God will not give up on you. He sees you. He knows the tears you cry in secret. He knows your silent prayers and your aching heart.
And His promise remains: You’re going to make it.
Let This Be Your Prayer:
“Lord, I don’t have all the answers. I don’t even know how this will all work out.
But I choose to believe that You are with me.
I choose to trust that I’m not alone.
Strengthen me when I’m weak.
Remind me that You are in control.
Help me hold on — one moment at a time.
I know You’re not finished with me yet.
And I know… I’m going to make it.”
