Writing a Great Article on Vocal Media: Tips to stand out
Until you write with your heart and publish one, you never know whether yours is the best one or not

When I was writing the last article, I never thought that it would be a $5 article. When I got the mail from Vocal, I was really filled with joy and planned to share my thought about writing this. Vocal requires us to write an absolute piece of an article on its platform. When we generate thoughts about something unique, we think too much; acceptability of the thoughts, popularity, reads, earnings etc. My suggestion in this case is that you just strictly follow your own idea, the one from your heart which will surely stand out and will not collide with others. The first and foremost important characteristic of an article is that it must be based on a creative unique idea. There is no need to look back if you find one. Let’s explore other points regarding that.
Idea generation from The Vocal Media Communities
This stage is crucial for a writer and it is also the most difficult part. When a creator writes on a regular basis, s/he faces this challenge frequently. This is not actually a challenge if s/he keeps an open mind to find for new ideas. To me, it is the Vocal Media communities which are immensely helpful. It gives you a clear oversight of what topics the writers are contributing everyday on the Vocal Media. At the beginning, most of us have a kind of superstition regarding choosing topics. We think that we need to choose something very hard and fast, only fictions, only poetry, only literature etc. But here on Vocal, you can write about anything to speak your mind, maintaining the community guidelines. Here is the list of topics you can choose to write. Idea generation is the most difficult task for writers to keep continuing. But if you look at the communities, visit regularly, read other stories, it is for sure that ideas will flood and will give you a great motivation for writing another piece. I think before starting writing on Vocal Media, it is needed to be clear about the topics which people choose to write everyday around the globe and publish those in the right community. When you will read and interact with these contents, you will see that these are very common ones but how powerfully expressed. When you explore and learn more about the communities on Vocal media, you will also find that you have hundreds of stories to share. There need no hard and fast topics. You can write anything about these and publish. Who knows these can be a great inspiration, encouragement, strength, motivation, solution or simply a great fun to a reader living in another part of the planet.
Title, Sub-tile and Paragraph Title:
Choosing a catchy title is very important. We also need to make sure that the title encapsulates the holistic idea that we want to portray in the rest of the essay. The sub-title will be like that it will strengthen the main theme expressed in the main title. It is a good idea to create a mystery or suspense while a reader reads the title and sub-title. A mystery or suspension is able to attract readers who try to dig down in to the whole write-up to solve it later. Title for each paragraph is not a bad idea, especially, for non-fictions. It will sometimes help the readers to understand the abstract sense of the paragraph easily and make a connection among other paragraphs in order to find out the main theme of the story without spending too much time. A thing must be remembered that the title, sub-title and paragraph titles all have to be aligned. This alignment is necessary to reflect a holistic picture to the readers so that they read and at the same time, enjoy.
Constructing the paragraphs describing each section
The simplest way to contract a paragraph is choosing a topic sentence which will clearly declare what is going to be discussed in the later section of the paragraph. Next few sentences can explain the topic sentence so that the main theme of the topic sentence gets fully clear to the audience. After that, we can add some data or examples to consolidate the whole fact. This approach of paragraph construction is generally popular in creating non-fictions. There are a number of perspectives for writing paragraphs for non-fictions. It depends on the flow of the story. For overall coherence in the paragraph, we need to use connectives so that the holistic thought is not torn apart. We also try to avoid repetition of words, sentences and description of any points consciously. From the perspective of the readers, sentence structure need not be very complex. We try to prioritize in each section that readers understand everything easily and all points get communicated to them as vividly as possible.
Sticking to the main theme is important
This is certainly the most important point of the story to remember. While writing titles, paragraphs or the whole story, one needs to glue to the prime subject matter. Consequently, at the end, it will get a complete shape which will give readers ultimate satisfaction. A lot of good ideas are poorly presented and those hardly capture the attention of the audience due to lack of connectedness. A reader after starting reading an article suddenly discovers that s/he has got lost and loses interest. How much of a single topic will be illustrated depends completely on the knowledge and depth of the creators. For that reason, especially in case of writing a piece of non-fiction, one needs to read a lot about the very topic.
The main topic is related to general welfare, betterment, motivation, inspiration, well being, happiness,
The underlining topics chosen for writing should focus on positivity as much as possible. It is a good idea to bypass the negative ones as we, humans, do not find much interest in pessimism, being the most optimistic creatures in the planet. Actually, we do not like to feel down or see other feeling down. We should choose a topic which is able to create a sense of welfare, betterment, motivation, inspiration, well-being and happiness among the audience. We have our own story. We always try to match that with other individual’s stories for getting a solution, being inspired or being motivated. Nobody wants to be depressed after reading a story. None feels good after going through a story of humiliation, hate or disrespect to anything. These sort of stories are highly discouraged on the Vocal Media as these violate the community guidelines. It is necessary to have a look over the community guideline before starting writing in the Vocal media. Please find the link here.
Proofread to eliminate spelling errors, grammatical glitches and any other errors
As we cannot edit a story after submitting it finally, we have to proofread it strongly in order to avoid any kind of mistakes. Actually it needs a long time to get a story ready. We are always in excitement that when can we finish that and submit. Not putting much importance on proofreading and prioritizing quick posting may damage the quality of the over-all creation. Successful ending makes the hard work worthwhile and soothes a reader as well.
Posting the story in the proper community
As we are already familiar with the vocal communities, it is now very important to post the story in the correct place because every single space has a distinct group of audiences who are fond of a specific subject matter. A good article may lose attraction if it fails to find the proper community as readers from other communities may not be interested as well. A great story is a matter of great enjoyment to both the readers and writers. The main task of Vocal media is to arrange for sound interaction between these two groups. When a story becomes a successful one, it is also a great success for the Vocal Media. The more the number of good contents, the more the value creation for all stake holders. The readers, writers and the Vocal media all are interdependent and feed each other’s interest. Do not get late, just open an account with the Vocal Media, write your stories and share with the world. Until you publish one, you never know whether yours is the best one or not.
