Stay at the office everyday overtime. You're the last one to close the door. Do you remember when you last went out with friends in town? Or when you went to a movie or a play? Or when you went to bed before midnight? If not, then you have to realize that life is not just about work.
This does not mean that we urge you to stop working enthusiastically. But a few times a week you have to have the courage to leave the office on time and go do something for yourself, something you enjoy (a massage, a movie, shopping, going out with friends). Anything! Just do it!
You don't have to keep an eye on the clock until the time of departure, nor do you have to make a habit of the state over time. Okay, there are those exceptions to the rule - large projects, unforeseen and urgent situations. There must be a firm boundary between personal life and work, otherwise, your situation may get out of hand. No matter how much you want a career, a man cannot live only with his professional performances.
There is a misconception that if you work overtime you are more efficient and, worse, that this is an important criterion in evaluating performance and promoting the individual. Staying on schedule is seen by young managers as a way to pressure employees to work hard to deliver.
The most common reason for overtime is emergencies. Many of us bring problems from home to work and from home to work, and this results in poor performance.

- Americans are increasingly emphasizing the importance of family in their lives. Employers are starting to encourage employees to take vacations, find hobbies, do things they enjoy. And Canadians have returned to family values.
- Peruvians are the most horrified employees, with more than half of them exceeding the critical threshold of 48 hours per week.
- The Dutch are the happiest at work, with an average of 33 hours per week.
- 50% of employees in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden have the opportunity to do their own work schedule, at will, as long as they do their job.
- Almost half of the Turkish employees work 7 days a week.
- In Eastern European countries, three-quarters of employees have a fixed schedule imposed by the company they work for.
So, things are not very "pink"… And wouldn't it be a shame to be a small part of some sad percentages? Always repeat that your life means more than office, plans, files, projects, payday, and deadlines.

Fewer demands on you will make you happier and you will be more beautiful and healthier!
Try to avoid or reduce the duration of morning snacks (coffee, cigarettes, a little gossip with colleagues), which eat you up for a long time. By doing this, you will arrive at the office on time and you will not have to stay longer than necessary.
Learn to say "No"! Stop taking on the tasks of others because you know how to do them better or faster. Or if you are given tasks by the boss that you feel you can't complete on time, refuse and explain to the boss that you don't have time.
Be more organized! Make a work diary in which to write down the tasks you have to do. Start with the heaviest ones and, during the day, combine them with the lightest ones. Try to take some time to complete a task and focus as much as possible, without interruption as much as possible. Then reward yourself with a 5-minute break.
Try to communicate to the boss the problems you have and the fact that you have more tasks than you can handle. If your work is such that the overtime hours are out of the question, then ask for a salary increase. Or look for another job.
If you have too many tasks to do, talk to your boss and tell him you can't handle the tasks alone. That is if you care about your personal life and are looking for a balance between the two. If you are happy to work, ask your boss for a raise.
The law is with you! The maximum number of hours worked per week must not exceed 48. If they exceed, officially, you can file a complaint against the organization.
