In the first quarter of 2021, while the world is still slumbering during the midst of this pandemic, Anjel B. Hartwell is quietly sprinting past her competition.

She was just awarded the 2021 Award of Distinction in the 27th Annual Communicator Awards for her podcast, Wickedly Smart Women. Hartwell recently celebrated her 100th episode, which is no small feat. And last, but not least, she has systematically generated $50K in revenue by consistently showing up and giving massive value on Clubhouse.

“One of the first things I do when we get started working together is, I bring my metaphoric “machete” to help clients see what they need to cut out. This includes what they need to cut out of their thinking and their systems and structures in order to actualize what they are really called to bring forth and serve in the world,” Hartman said.

“Clubhouse has become a brand-new way to connect, market, network and serve. It also gives you access to people you never would have met. For example, I was in a room with TV personality Justine Bateman. She was doing a masterclass on inner work and imposter syndrome. I never would have met her, had it not been for Clubhouse.

“In fact, being on Clubhouse takes me back to a time in the beginning of my career when I simply used my voice to share my message.

  • Only now have I over a decade of experience
  • Only now I know what I’m offering and can clearly communicate its value
    • Only now I have my backend funnel structured and streamlined
    • Only now I am disciplined to honor my personal boundaries

“Clubhouse has been a fantastic opportunity for me. It has allowed me to take the “machete” to my own business as well. I have honed my skills and I am continually refining my business. Speaking, moderating, hosting rooms and starting my own club have been done in a measured and intentional way,” she said.

Hartwell has generated 5-figure paydays as a direct result of being on Clubhouse. Not only that, she has enrolled some amazing dream clients that are the right fit for her and for them.

    LISTEN, LEARN, LEAP

When she first started using Clubhouse, she gave herself permission for three weeks to listen, learn and then leap. She intentionally went into rooms to listen to people speak on topics she wanted to learn more about. Next, after she learned the flow of each room, she raised her hand and got up on stage and asked questions. Lastly, she took the leap to open up her own rooms and provide massive value around topics such as podcasting and monetization.

She consistently generates revenue in two ways. After people hear her speak, they are able to download her free ebook, 27 Hot Tips for Getting Booked on Virtual Stages, which serves as a way to continue the conversation with clients on her email list.

I really love Tip #17, which says, you must stand for something. Even if you speak on a topic that is very similar to others, you must be able to stand out and differentiate yourself. Be sure to check out her website and get on her email list to see the other tips. The second way she generates revenue from Clubhouse is by asking individuals who resonate with her message to apply for a complimentary conversation with her.
