It's been almost three years of struggling in the field of blogging for me to make it as a full-time career. I started back in the year 2017, with an aim to get a source of a passive-income.

How I found my own passion…

In 2017, I had my first site and I have many more sites up and running, but not having any earning for the past half-year or so. The thought I had in my mind was to get a lot of traffic on my list to turn into revenue.

I spent some amount on getting a site on the web with a cheezy domain name and a hosting that costs me around $50 a year. Now, I settled up my site and wrote some articles on it. After coming out of the phase of watching videos and reading content on Google searching "how to make money blogging", I got the motivation of making things happen. But none of the thoughts came to work for me. I was really sad and not earning any money for the past few years or so also made me think more, whether I had picked the right field for me or no.

Middle of all these scenarios of multiple thoughts, I noted that my writing has improved somehow. This was really a moment for me, as I now love to write more, and also sharing thoughts by writing has been a fantastic task ever.

Content creation became an easy task for me as I have been writing for the past few years. This is where I started to gain knowledge about the huge plethora over the Internet, that values writers. I connected it up and wrote some blogs too. First was Medium, then another one was Quora, and then LinkedIn. It gave me confidence and motivation to write more.

Following passion keeps you joyous.

Another fact is that pursuing your passion always helps you look good. I have been on youtube and followed some great people in the field of writing or maybe any other field.

Following your passion always make you feel like a kid, who thinks of being and a fictional character of a movie or an astronaut or a scientist. Now, working on passion won’t let you think in a realistic way, rather it will make you feel elated as you be more consistent on it.

“The ones who had made living from their passion, is more good and healthy, than the ones who do a regular 9-5 job”.

Covering up the free-time is really important. As this time would be best consumed if we follow the task we love the most. Steal some of the hours from your busy schedule, and then try to find some opportunities that may be the best return on investment for you. Also, there is always a way to reward your interest.

Youtube stands the best platform the world has ever been gifted with, as it has rewarded people having genuine interests and passions. Some people have an interest in teaching others, they could be online tutors on Udemy and Teachable as well. So, the Internet has always been rewarding for the people having interest and keen to share them with others.

If we take an example of making a living by writing, Medium rewards creators by letting them write and join a program and then earn for every read. Now, through this article, I have made it clear, that following your passion is always important and pays off.

For the people who don’t have any interest…

Cultivate your skills, learn more about the subjects you like the most. As working on making the skillset sharper will make your stand out from the crowd and it will be more rewarding. Especially, the jobs would be open for you as you level up your skills.

“Step out of your comfort zone, it will lead to more opportunities and will make you happy and successful.
