Walmart Manager Terminates 29 Employees!
A quiet yet bold leader lets almost 30 workers go
In a land where minimum wage jobs exist in America as the last hope for some in a still struggling economy, one manager didn’t care about how her subordinates would end up in this country.
While she may have claimed that her fellow employees tried to “jump her,” in the video, it showed that she spoke evenly and respectfully.
This display of calm and professionalism against mostly people in their twenties and thirties, with their lips poked out, and exchanging words with their manager made her look better. She held her position, and as a leader, set the example as one of the best bosses of the millions of other middle-managers associated with the corporate giant.
In the short clip, she explained that the employees in question failed to follow directions and listen to the words that came down to her. That’s what has to be highlighted. If the manager had not fired the workers, her head might have been on the chopping block. It was clear-cut self-preservation. This virtue that the woman showed allowed her to breathe another day as a manager of one of the largest companies on the planet.
Though it may seem callous for her to have dismissed all of these laborers, it was rational self-interest and regard for the way business is done. The woman acknowledged that a particular hot-headed employee profaned and acted abnormally and against what would be conducive to a business environment.
The manager had to show her muscle or she would go down an endless rabbit hole of excuses and nonsense. She cut the short strings short. In all of her abilities and certifications as manager, she readied herself for a battle that she knew would win the war.
To consider the number of people who could be a better fit for their roles, she chose the thoughtful route. Instead of continuing to put up with teeth sucking, feet shuffling, and other gestures of indolence, she chose to raze the ground and shoo away all of these workers.
Rather than go on a power trip, the manager knew that she could always find help for her store without putting up with the employees who couldn’t cut it.
The video clearly reflected that she used her position of authority not as an overbearing tyrant, but as a reasoned individual. When she said goodbye to the people under her charge, she could welcome newcomers with better attitudes.
As some people would love to get the medical and dental benefits and the relatively high pay of being a low-level employee at Walmart, these workers seemed to take their roles for granted. It was like they refused to appreciate the fortune that had been granted them.
The manager stood her ground and articulated her observation of all the employees. She held her position respectfully and delivered a clear message that sliced through the tension and rancor in the air.
If anything, this woman should be promoted. Her title of manager should be upgraded to senior vice president for her excellent thinking skills, and ability to identify the best ways to govern underlings. Some kind of award should be in place for her. She ought to be applauded for being an exemplary corporate leader.
With sullen faces and eyes averted, the woman who blurted out, “We working!” should be called out and ready to report that she was fired on her updated resumé. To be so abrasive shows the poor home training and irresponsibility she may have encountered through her life. The complete lack of respect for authority warranted her termination. The manager knew what she was doing when she fired her and the twenty-eight others.

S.O.S. ~ So this is the S.S. that I've heard so much about. As I scroll through your zillion offerings I can't imagine how you select all that you write about. Although the 'Big-Box' stores are very different now in this 'new world' since you wrote about this (2) years ago. - With my Respect - Jay, Jay Kantor, Chatsworth, California 'Senior' Vocal Author - Vocal Village Community -
