Use Google News and this site to Build a Profitable Content-Driven Business

A run a multi-niche content-driven business, with several income streams stemming from various platforms.

I use two major media platforms to find content ideas for my websites, YouTube channels, Vocal media pages, and other platforms. I consume content for a living, and I’m not complaining at all.

Here’s why I focus on these two platforms:

Google News is a news aggregator however, you’ll also find evergreen content as well as trending news. I like to combine evergreen with trending topics to drive traffic and build sustainable digital assets.

As for BuzzFeed, I pull ideas for my viral video content. For example, I like to recreate TikTok food trend videos and aside from TikTok itself, BuzzFeed is a great place to find the latest TikTok food and skincare trends.

Here’s my daily process:

✅ I start my work sessions by heading over to Google News

✅ I find four stories

✅ Add the links to a Google Doc

✅ Create four short and sweet articles inspired by each piece

✅ Take a break

✅ Edit the articles

✅ Post them to my websites and Vocal

✅ Take another long break

Session 2

✅ Create videos based on each article

✅ Edit and post them on YouTube

I repeat this same process the next day, but this time with BuzzFeed. My process is slightly different with BuzzFeed though because here, I focus on finding TikTok trends; I might not write articles.

For this, I’ll create videos, or write down ideas for future videos. I don’t always create content straight away.

With Google News content, I post daily, I never miss a day of content. This has worked for me, and as long as it’s working, I won’t stop.

How do I monetize?

With my blogs, I use Google Adsense and MediaVine. I also sell digital products and promote affiliate links.

For YouTube, I earn money from the Partner Program, Print on Demand, digital products, and affiliate links.

For Vocal, I earn from the partner program, affiliate links, and digital products.

I have to admit, I’ve fallen off track with BuzzFeed content, but as I’m jumping back on the wagon to 10x my content-driven business in 2025 and beyond. I’m putting in extra effort to build more BuzzFeed inspired content in the next few months.

I’m not interested in celebrity gossip content, although this is what BuzzFeed is known for, I choose to focus on the TikTok curated pieces such as:

“This Three-Ingredient Fluffy Cloud Bread Is All The Rage On TikTok, So I Tried It”

I love trying new recipes, so this is perfect for me. If you are a foodie too, you’ll love experimenting with viral TikTok recipes too. You get so much out of this type of content, because you can write an article, create a long form video, and embed that into the article, also create a TikTok, and a YouTube shorts piece.

Post the article on several platforms, such as Vocal and Hubpages. If you have your own blog, post it there too.

Share your articles and videos on Pinterest, especially the foodie pieces. Many Stories is also a good place to share your articles to gain more traction.
