Transitioning to True Voice
Exploring the world through a prophetic lens, I share reflections, storytelling, and art that uncover meaning, depth, and everyday miracles.

After years of navigating some social media platforms — spaces built for instant gratification and mimicry — I realized I needed a different kind of space. Years ago, I created a brand to support a community exploring their roots and building internally, rather than feeding the ego machine. I spent years nurturing this brand, planting seeds, and watching them grow as the community embraced their heritage. People began returning to their ancestral lands, learning about their roots, and connecting deeply at heart. The reward was witnessing individuals healed through the power of our shared history and collective experience.
Eventually, I paused. I took a long break to ask myself: Where does my voice truly fit? Why? I knew that this project was planted, and now my own voice needed room to take new roots.
Then I stumbled upon a word: Vocal Media. What is that? I decided to create an account and discovered a space for true writers, unfiltered voices, and real art — less ego, more substance. Here, I can share the stories I encounter in the world with depth, rawness, and heartfelt, in-the-moment reflection. Before this, I kept a notebook, writing down raw moments of humanity — small gestures, whispers of connection, unspoken patterns. But something inside me wanted to plant these seeds in a space that could grow beyond private reflection.
I see the world through a prophetic lens: whether it’s the sound of waves, birds searching for food in the cold whispering winter — the blue jays, red cardinals, and sparrows surviving the long months — or the quiet triumph of finally mastering a vegan pumpkin loaf after years of a complicated relationship with baking. When I settled into it, baking became more than a recipe — it became passion and voice. I was tired of buying someone else’s pumpkin loaf, so I added agave syrup and called it my own, sprinkling in organic pepitas from Peru and drawing flavors and inspiration from years of traveling through Mexico. When I saw the loaf puff up in the oven, I knew that something delicious, organic, and handcrafted had been born. Listening to the audio poetry of Facundo Cabral made the moment even more authentic and delightful, infusing the loaf with rhythm, story, and soul.
This is what storytelling is to me: unburying meaning, depth, and flavor from the world, giving voice to patterns, small miracles, and ordinary moments that hold extraordinary stories. Through this lens, everything — from nature to baking to human connection — is art, waiting to be witnessed, felt, and shared. I also witness cultures around the world, identifying patterns and contrasts that reveal the complexity and wonders of humanity. One of my greatest passions is returning home and recreating recipes I’ve tasted across the globe, adding my own mark — a culmination of lived experience and gastronomical skills — to call something truly my own. I’ve collected “yummy stamps” from my travels — pastilla in Morocco, ceviche in Peru, ancestral mole from Mexico, tapas enjoyed while listening to the heart-pounding flamenco on the wooden floors of Madrid’s theaters, and, of course, the coconut curry from a street vendor in Bangkok — and brought them home to recreate with my own touch.
Here, in this space, I can nurture the seeds of reflection, insight, and creativity — offering a place where stories are not rushed or filtered for likes, but allowed to breathe, resonate, and transform. A space where I can share the patterns of human behavior, unhealed wounds, habits, stories, and the soul-level connections of humanity. I can also share prophetic insights on how we can heal, connect, and find faith in the present moment.
This is my voice — finally planted, finally growing — and I invite others to witness, feel, and reflect alongside me.
