Why does this myth even exist? Like an HR professional could be just there to carry out his or her task. It is not that just because an HR professional has entered the room, you will see someone getting fired. On the other hand, it might be your promotion that might come up instead of disciplinary actions! While it is true that all sorts of the hard part of the job fall on HR, it is not that HR is not fun. They are also quite fun. So, stop that assumption that HR is always surrounded by unpleasant events.

HR likes to side with the company’s decisions

It is perceived that HR is a department that every time no matter what will always side with what the company decides. Well, that’s not entirely true, there are circumstances where the HR professionals need to be considerate of the company’s policies and oppose certain decisions when needed. Also do not worry, if you are correct, then the chances are high that HR will side with you as well.

HR is responsible to build the culture of a company

Company culture is not created, it actually just exists and HR professionals just make sure that they strengthen this culture. If you are to ask whether HR professionals are the ones who create this culture, well, it's wrong, they are the ones who strengthen this culture that already exists among the employee.
