The Importance of Job Titles while Resume Writing

How often do you think about job titles whilst resume writing? Since various titles can describe similar roles across different organizations – many job-hunters don’t stop to think how crucial their job title is. The titles you place on your resume could be holding you back from your dream job.

HR managers tend to focus on your job titles. Your job titles help portray your story and lets the employer know what you have done – and on what level of your career you are on. Many citizens also find themselves waiting to apply for a higher role because they believe like their present title does not clearly reflect their skills. Just because your job title may be Associate Editor, it doesn't mean that if you do more, your resume should concentrate solely on lower-level duties.
