The Barrel Guy

Hi, my name is Katrina I am going to tell you a story about when I was at work and I encountered a guy in a barrel wanting to gain access to the football game that was being held at that venue at that moment in time.

When I encountered a guy in a barrel trying to get into the football game at the establishment I was working at in that time frame it was a interesting thing I have seen all that day and I felt really bad for I had to explain to the guy that was in this barrel why he wasn’t allowed into the event.

Here the story goes:

So I just got to my position I was assigned to do and nothing really happened in the beginning of my shift, so when I was done with what I had to do I was just standing there at my position helping people if they needed any further help with anything. A little time passes and my boss comes and tells me to go on break, so I do and when I come back from break that is when things were getting interesting because most of the positions people had were no longer open and they were needed elsewhere.

So this is when the guy in the barrel comes into the story. I was getting ready to be moved position’s when a guy walks up to me in a barrel and try’s to come and get into the event which is a football game with nothing else on except for shoes and boxers and when shows me his ticket and what was going through my head was how am I going to handle this lol, so what I said to him was this “I am like Sir, I am sorry, but I can’t let you come in” and he was like “Why I have shoes and clothes on and I am a paying participant” and I told him a barrel is not appropriate attire to be wearing to any event and then he kept saying “I have shoes on and boxers on” and then he went on to say “What if I take the barrel off am I then allowed in” and I had to say “I am very sorry, but you are still not allowed in the football venue because the barrel is on the prohibited item list and it is required for you to have shirt and pants and shoes on and after that the guy in the barrel got all mad and I told him I was so sorry, but those were the rules here at this establishment and that I needed to follow them because it was my job to do so.

To be honest I am not sure if he tried to get into another part of the venue with his barrel, but after that happening I didn’t see or hear about the guy in the barrel and then I sent to a different position and the whole time I was at the new position I was thinking about the barrel guy and what possessed him to come to a football game and think it was okay to come in just a barrel and try to get into the venue that was going on like that and now that guy is known as The Barrel Guy.

Before I end the story I was checking out of work talking to a few of my buddies in line when I told them that I was a guy in a barrel at my first position and they were like it’s better you then us because you are the best one to deal with that weird stuff lol.
