Setting Small Online Writing Goals for September 2025

So, I recently sat down to look at all of my online stats as of lately, and I was humbly reminded that I need to get on the ball! As most of us know, most of the time life in general tends to get in the way, either good or bad, and it causes you to get distracted from what you want out of any type of market to be successful.

For instance: Late last evening I was going over different platforms I'm monetized on to take a peek at the number of follows, views, etc, and it made me realize just how much I procrastinate. Yeah of course, socials and websites aren't all that important to most, but for someone like myself who uses them as a form of passive income(eventually make it all full time), they ARE important. Especially if you're both a musician and a writer trying to promote a brand. Myself though? I need to try way harder.

Vocal Media:

I made a total of $1.26 on the platform. But, it makes sense, as I've only published some poetry on it. I do have more inspiration in myself, so I'll be making it a habit to write more works to publish.

Goal for 09/2025: Is to make at least $5. My new rule of thumb is to rock with small goals at first.

Facebook:

This is where I have most of my followers with a little over 5k, and at the end of August I made a grand total of...$11.37. Granted, I did take a break for a couple of weeks from the platform, so it is usually more.

Goal for 09/2025: I wanna gain another 1-2k followers, post more interesting insights, writings, promote my music and brands more, and payout at close to $15 or more.

Bendable:

I made a total of $1.05. In all honesty, this is a tough platform. Yes, you're publishing your own reviews and recommendations on books, restaurants, etc, but it's not that simple if you want to make some type of passive income on there. You need to WRITE, be interesting, and stand out.

Goal for 09/2025: $5...Remember to think small goals right now.

Instagram: To be reasonable, I've only recently became monetized on their platform. So, no bread as of yet.

Goal for 09/2025: I'm only at 520 followers. I would love to reach 1000.

TicTok:

With TicTok, I'm just now getting around to actually taking the app serious as far as you getting monetized. Recently, I've been actively gaining quite a bit of views. It's fun to say the least.

Goal for 09/2025: I'm sitting at 664 followers, but 1000 would make a world of difference.

YouTube:

This is honestly the platform I forget about the most as far as posting(haha). Unless you're offering something interesting, useful, or entertaining, it's another tough one to gain subscibers.

Goal for 09/2025: I wanna gain 50 followers!

My reason for writing this is not only motivation for myself, but for other creators out there. And if you're not a creator yourself, support the ones who do create.
