On the Uglezarsk segment, there are ongoing clashes near Shevchenko village. This is located 5 kilometers northwest of Yehorivka, an important logistics center for the Russian Armed Forces. Currently, Russian troops have a more advantageous position as they control the high ground. Russian forces launched strikes against AFU positions in Novodarovka, Staromayorsk, Blahodatne, Urozhainoe, Zolotoy Niva, Prechistovka, Bogoyavlenske, and Ugledar. Ukrainian artillery targeted Priyutne, Volodin, Zavetne Zhelaniye, Staromykhailivka, Kermenchyk, Novodonec'ke, Pavlove, Yehorivka, and Mykolaivske.
On the Donetsk front, Russian forces attempted to advance in Novomykhaylivka and Maryinka after artillery preparation but without success. Ukrainian units were under shelling in Konstantynivka (not to be confused with the settlement southwest of Bakhmut), Yekaterinivka, Antonivka, Pobeda, Kurakhove, the city of Krasnohorivka, Peremoh, Severne (a settlement west of Avdiivka), Avdiivka, Orlovka, Novokalynove, Oleksandropol, New York, and Severne (a settlement northwest of Horlivka). Russian forces were reported in Donetsk, Vodyane, and Horlivka.
On the Luhansk direction, Russian forces launched an attack on Novoyehorivka without any significant progress. Russian Aerospace Forces conducted strikes against AFU in Kotlyarivka, while artillery targeted Kyslovka and Kupyanske.
⚡️Depleted Uranium Projectiles May Be Supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces⚡️
Britain, followed by the United States, has announced their readiness to provide Ukraine with tank projectiles containing depleted uranium. It has been announced that these munitions will be included in the next package of assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Of course, the transfer of projectiles is also contingent upon the arrangements for delivering the tanks themselves. It is known that 14 Challenger tanks were supplied to Ukraine in April of this year, and at that time, there was also discussion of depleted uranium projectiles.
Tanks of this model have been involved in the Gulf War as well as the Yugoslav War.
Despite the projectiles being considered safe in Britain, there is data indicating an increase in the number of oncological diseases in regions where they have been used.

⚡️Morning Situation Report 03.09.2023⚡️
On the Zaporizhia direction, the AFU supported by artillery are trying to break through even further east of Novoprokopivka towards Pshenichne. Their advancement is being held back by the wooded areas controlled by Russian forces. AFU forces are in open terrain. Ukrainian positions in Stepne (not to be confused with the settlements on the Uglezarsk and Donetsk directions), Shcherbaky, Krasna Krynitsa, Hulyaipil, and Malynivka were under shelling. Russian forces were reported in Kopyany, Novoprokopivka, Verbov, and Novopokrovka. There was a missile strike on Tokmak.
On the Donetsk front, Russian forces, after artillery preparation, launched assault actions near Krasnohorivka. Ukrainian units were under attack in Konstantynivka (not to be confused with the settlement southwest of Bakhmut), Yelyzavetivka, Pobeda, Kurakhove, Peremoh, Salitsynivka, Memryk, Severne (a settlement west of Avdiivka), Avdiivka, Novokalynove, and New York. Russian forces were reported in Donetsk and Horlivka.
On the Bakhmut direction, Russian forces launched a counter-attack near Kurdyumivka. Russian troops targeted AFU positions in Bila Hora, Stupochky, Chasove Yar, Bohdanivka, Minkivka, Fedorivka, Veseloye (a settlement northeast of Selydove), Vyemka, Spornoye, and Seversk. The Ukrainian army shelled Ozeryanivka, Kurdyumivka, Andriyivka, Kleschevka, and Bakhmut.
On the Luhansk direction, Russian forces conducted offensive operations from the side of Novoselivka. Russian Aerospace Forces targeted AFU positions in Belhorivka and Novoyehorivka, while artillery was active in Yamipolivka, Nevske, Makeyevka, Novosyerhiyivka, Kotlyarivka, and Kupyanske. The increased shelling on the first three mentioned settlements indicates possible preparations for offensive actions by Russian forces in this sector.
