What inspired you to get into media and marketing?
Nikki Jones:
I am a very market-facing individual. I enjoy working with people and I enjoy looking at original ideas from a new perspective. I recently graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Communications, emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Business Innovation. All things considered, anything within the communications realm appeals to me.
Tammy Reese:
What do you love most about the work that you are doing?
Nikki Jones:
I enjoy the industry I am working in the most in regard to my current work. I love anything music and entertainment, so being able to mix business with pleasure has been an awesome experience.
Tammy Reese:
What are some challenges?
Nikki Jones:
Staying up to date on current news/music releases. PR content is not relative beyond 24-48 hours of release, so ensuring that I am completing my assigned content in a timely yet notable manner has been essential during my time at CULTR and Run The Trap.
Tammy Reese:
What are the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Nikki Jones:
Surf Mesa (American Musician) posting my article on his Instagram Story.
Tammy Reese:
How has the pandemic shaped your day-to-day life?
Nikki Jones:
The pandemic has lead me to learn to adapt to working from home. Recently graduating from a college university, I was accustomed to working in a hands-on, face-to-face environment. I have adjusted to working virtually while remaining self-motivated.
