Life Style is a way in which a person lives in.
A person’s or a group’s lifestyle refers to their interests, beliefs, actions, and behavioral orientations.

Since 1961, the term “lifestyle” has been used more broadly to refer to a “way or style of living.”
The confluence of concrete and intangible aspects that determine lifestyle.
A person’s demographic profile falls under the category of physical characteristics, whereas psychological traits including personal beliefs, preferences, and outlooks fall under the category of intangible factors.
The lifestyles in rural areas differ from those in urban centers.
Even in an urban setting, location matters. Due to variances in the levels of prosperity and accessibility to natural and cultural surroundings among different neighborhoods, a person’s neighborhood of residence has an impact on the range of lifestyles that are available to them.
For instance, a surf culture or lifestyle can frequently be seen in coastal regions.
Lifestyles and social position :
In earlier research on lifestyles, the relative positions of the people within the social system were examined.
By asserting that people adopt particular “schemes of life,” and in particular particular patterns of “conspicuous consumption,” depending on a desire for distinction from social strata they perceive as inferior and a desire for emulation of those they perceive as superior, Thorstein Veblen opens this perspective.
Max Weber views lifestyles as distinct components of status groups that are strictly linked to a dialectic of recognition of prestige: the lifestyle is the most obvious indicator of social differentiation, even within the same social class, and in particular, it reveals the prestige that people believe they possess or are entitled to.
Personal Identity :
In contemporary society, the distinctions between one’s own identity and the behaviors that identify a specific lifestyle are increasingly muddled. For instance, living a “green lifestyle” entails adopting ideas and practices that use fewer resources and generate less hazardous waste (i.e., have a smaller ecological footprint), and getting a sense of self from adopting such beliefs and practices.
According to some observers, consumer behavior, which provides the opportunity to build and further individualize the self with various goods and services that denote various lifestyles, is the cornerstone of lifestyle construction in modernity.
Views on politics, religion, health, intimacy, and other topics can all be a part of lifestyle.
Each of these factors influences someone’s lifestyle in some way.
“Lifestyle” is a term used in the magazine and television industries.
Social Position and Life styles :

The lifestyle is the most obvious indicator of social differentiation, even within the same social class, and in particular, it reveals the prestige that the individuals believe they enjoy or to which they aspire. This is how Max Weber intended lifestyles to be distinctive elements of status groups strictly connected with a dialectic of recognition of prestige.
Healthy Life Style :
A final definition of healthy lifestyle is: The collection of personal choices made by people that have an impact on their health. Most likely, a healthy or unhealthy lifestyle will be passed down the generations.
Healthy living : The collection of individual decisions people make that affect their health is a final definition of lifestyle.

A healthy lifestyle is an important tool for preventing and lessening the effects of health issues, for healing, for managing stress in life, and for enhancing quality of life.
A increasing corpus of scientific research demonstrates that our lifestyles have a significant impact on how healthy we are.
Everything we do, from what we eat and drink to how much exercise we get to using drugs or smoking, will have an impact on our health, including how long we may expect to go without developing a chronic illness.

Final discussion :
In this final debate, I’d want to elaborate on a few ideas related to the idea:
According to some, issues with sustainable development are issues with lifestyle.
Is this assertion true?
First off, lifestyle per se need not be the issue. From one viewpoint, a lifestyle may be unimportant or even helpful, while from another, it may be a problem.
Second, it is important to recognize that there are significant variances even within a given level of society if we define lifestyle in terms of that level. The road to sustainable development, for instance, looks significantly different in Europe and Africa.
Can we conclude that the issue stems from the idea of nationalism if lifestyle is a material embodiment of nationalism.
Do we therefore have the same issue and simply require a single solution?
The idea of a lifestyle is entwined with a twin idea on every level. A global consumer class and a global way of life are interwoven. A nation’s structural makeup influences lifestyle (-state). The positioning degree of lifestyle is entangled with a subculture.
Last but not least, a person’s lifestyle and self-identity are entwined. An alternative perspective is that lifestyle is entwined with personal habits, objectives, and values at the individual level (we may call it a belief system).
The actual issue here is that there may be more differences within a world consumer class or a nation than there are between them. This causes confusion and doesn’t address any issues with the idea of lifestyle at these specific levels.
