6 Most Attractive and Wonderful Places in the World

By Dua NoumanPublished 2 years ago 3 min read

These are the most beautiful and incredible places on Earth and personally the places I wish to travel to.

1. Positano, Italy

Positano is a breathtakingly beautiful city that is well worth exploring. From its comprehensive views to its rich culture and history, there is something for everyone in this fantastic Italian destination. Known for its world-class hotels and iconic pastel buildings, Positano is one of the most charming villages on the Amalfi Coast—and in the world. The numerous shops across the cliff celebrate the craftsmanship of Italian ceramicists, painters, and textile designers. The best part may just be that almost every cafe and hotel comes with idyllic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

2. Machu Picchu, Peru

Perched in the Andes Mountains stands the most important discovery from the ancient Inca Empire, Machu Picchu. It was an astronomical observatory, and its sacred Intihuatana stone accurately indicates the two equinoxes. Twice a year, the sun sits directly over the stone creating no shadow. Machu Picchu stands 2,430 m above sea level, in the middle of a tropical mountain forest, in an exceptionally beautiful setting. Getting to the site in the mountains is no easy task as it requires quite a hike at a high elevation, but the views are unlike anything you'll ever see in your life.

3. Jaipur, India

Jaipur is commonly known as the 'Pink City' due to its stunning buildings which were painted pink in 1876 to welcome the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria. Jaipur is also the biggest city in the state of Rajasthan, and its capital. The light, sand-colored stone walls and the deep blue of the water make for a wonderful contrast. The palace appears to float in the center of Man Sagar Lake, where its magnificent exteriors can be enjoyed by tourists. Beyond the ornate Hindu Rajput architecture, Jaipur is also home to extraordinary textile markets.

4. Avenue of the Baobabs, Madagascar

On the west coast of Madagascar, dozens of ancient baobabs trees strikingly frame the dirt path between Morondava and Belon'i Tsiribihina. The towering 800-year-old trees extend upwards to the dusty sky, creating a dramatic scene that can be seen from miles away. It's said the rare trees were once a part of a much larger forest, but due to urbanization much of it had been torn down. To preserve the path, local activists successfully petitioned for the Avenue of the Baobabs to become Madagascar's first natural monument.

5. Temples of Bagan, Myanmar

Of course, Bagan is not just beautiful from the outside. Inside the temples, there are treats at every turn – from glorious shafts of sunlight illuminating cool and airy corridors…to enormous gold buddhas adorned with precious stones. Over 3,500 breathtaking Buddhist pagodas and temples make up the ancient city of Bagan in Myanmar. Dating back to the 9th century, the former capital served as the cultural, economic, and religious epicenter of the Pagan Empire. Scholars believe that the Bagan rulers constructed upwards of 13,000 religious buildings over 250 years, establishing a Buddhist landmark in the country. However, many of those temples were destroyed over the centuries due to earthquakes.

6. Kauai, Hawaii

Kauai is the winner. Kauai has earned its nickname as Hawaii's “Garden Isle" for a great reason: Its local landscape consists of stunning white sand beaches, astonishing sea cliffs, picturesque waterfalls, and vast plantings. The Nā Pali Coast State Park stretches across the island, allowing visitors the chance to learn all about the native flora and fauna that make the island so unique. The rainbows and luscious green forests make for a perfect opportunity to take a boat tour during the rainy season with spectacular views.
