Revenge of the 5th
I wake up at 6:30 AM to do laundry.
I put everything in the washer. Four loads. Shelby has a lot. I brew Blue Bottle Bright Blend Coffee in my Z's Divine Espresso Mug.
I pet Loki on my lap. Then, when my alarm goes off, I switch the clothes from the washer to the dryer.
I journal and post on Vocal.
We have no food in the house, so I can't have a bagel. Damn. We need to go grocery shopping my neither of us has any money.
I watch a video on YouTube that my dad sent me about working from home. I get some stuff out of the dryer and then put some stuff back in, because these dryers still don't fucking work.
I listen to Pink Floyd's, 'Atom Heart Mother.'
I get the remaining clothes out of the dryer and put my clothes away.
I grind some coffee and brew the freshly ground Bones Coffee Co. Mustachio, Pistachio flavored coffee in my Z's Divine Espresso Mug. But the coffee machine messes up halfway through. I put water in it, but apparently put too much, because it overflows everywhere and I have to clean it up.
I watch the next episode of Star Trek: Picard on Paramount+.
There really isn't a lot to eat in here, so I grab some Pretzel Crisps and dip them in the rest of the Spero The Herb Sunflower Cream Cheese. I also feast on a banana, a mandarin orange, and dried apples. I finish my coffee. While I feast I watch half of an episode of Picard.
I do the dishes while listening to Pink Floyd's, 'Meddle.'
I shower with Bourbon, 2-n-1, Head and Shoulders, Shampoo/Conditioner. I use a bar of soap called Man Bar that smells like Taco Bell's meat seasoning. Then I lather myself with Duke Cannon Buffalo Trace Bourbon Soap and rinse. I then smother myself with body wash: Duke Canon THICK Bourbon Bodywash. After rinsing I rinse my hair. Then I use my Duke Cannon Buffalo Trace Bourbon Plant-Based Beard Wash. I rinse. I dry and comb my red beard with its elegant white streaks.
I put on Axe Apollo Fresh Stick, because they were out of Phoenix.
I put on Big Bourbon Beard Balm and Bourbon Cologne Balm.
I heat filtered, Vegan water to 203 Degrees Fahrenheit in my black, Vegan Fellow EKG Gooseneck Kettle and steep two teaspoons of Vegan Hojicha Green Tea for two vegan minutes in my Mike "Vegan" Wazowski mug. I purchased the Vegan tea at The Tea Table online. I highly recommend them. Vegan.
I order Instacart and wait.
Shelby comes home with Tocaya Organica. I get a Vegan Fajita Burrito.
The instacart finally comes.
I make a Blue Bottle Bright Blend Coffee in my Powell's Bookstore mug. Then I pour myself a Compass Box: The Spaniard Blended Malt Scotch aged in Sherry casks.
I get really depressed and listen to Pink Floyd's, 'Meddle,' and, 'Obscured By Clouds.'
Shelby leaves to celebrate with some friends. I order Something Vegan: Carbonara and hot wings. I don't finish the last two wings. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I should have listened to my insides and just got the Carbonara. I watch the season finale of Star Trek: Picard. It was beautiful. I love the way it ended. And I love that cameo.
I pour another scotch.
I put on Axe Apollo Fresh Stick, because they were out of Phoenix, and take two ibuprofen, because my leg hurts really badly.
I watch season 3 of Star Trek Discovery and sip whisky.
I end up stopping around midnight to go to bed.
And that's it.
That's my day.
That's Thursday, May 5th 2022
