In this decade people have started using the internet more and more for information and for making purchases. This has its advantages due to the fact that it is now possible to buy products from the other side of the world, but in the same time it is harder and harder to establish which products are good and which are of poor quality. This is especially true when talking about musical instruments, the difficulty with which musicians can find quality goods being at an alarming level.

Let's take digital pianos for example; it is almost impossible now to find a product which is not advertised to be "exactly like a grand piano" or "better than any other model on the market". This is normal in an open economy, but what is a beginner musician supposed to do when trying to decide which instrument suits him/her better?

First of all, there is no such thing as professional and cheap; an instrument might be cost effective or have a good quality-price ratio, but you should never trust reviews that clearly oversell the product. An example of wording that you may trust is "these are the best digital pianos under 1000". Moreover there are certain main points that you must follow in a review, their absence being a clear sign that what you are reading might not be at all unbiased.

Perhaps the most important part of reading digital piano reviews is to keep an eye out for the brands advertised. Some brands are by far better than others, therefore if you ever read that a Casio model has been proven to be better than a Roland, you can be sure that the respective review is false. The feel and sound of an instrument are also great giveaways so try to avoid products that are said to have only advantages, especially if their prices or producers are questionable. Another aspect that you should take into account is the digital features. Generally professional instruments tend not to have "9000 effects" or unlimited flexibility, so you should always be skeptical of a model that seems to do too much.

But do not worry, there are also a lot of different models that are suited for your taste and needs, you just have to spend some time to find them, and most importantly always try out the exact digital piano that you plan to buy.

I have struggled to use any kind of in-ear headphone my whole life. I have been under the mistaken impression that my ear canals were quite small because I would try and put things into them and it would always feel like they just didn't fit. I purchased this pair of earbuds because reviews said that they tended to run small and I thought my problem was that I had small canals. But that was exactly wrong. In truth I have large ear canals so much so that I have been trying to put connectors into my ears and nothing is held and then I've ended up trying to actually jam the whole bud into the canal. So instead of using the smallest tips that came with these, I found that using the largest tip actually gave me for the first time a snug seal. Unfortunately my left ear is apparently a little bit bigger than my right and the left keeps trying to fall out though the right stays snug. I'm going to attempt to find a third party alternate tip that is even bigger than the one it comes with. So if your problem is with fit apparently this model does run a little small but it does come with three different tips that you can try. I found the use and the Bluetooth connection to be very solid. There have been no issues with battery life or playback stability. In order for the best sound to be obtained you need the snug fit of the tip so I will typically find that the sound is great when I first put them in but as soon as I've been a little bit active the seal tends to break on my left ear and then I can tell I'm not getting quite as good as sound. I can only have the lefty in about for 5 minutes at a time so these are not perfect but they're good for what they are.

The battery life is great. I went on a trip to FL with a 2 hour plane ride, used the ear buds the entire flight and back again on the plane and never had to charge them. The sound quality is interesting though. There's not much bass, if any at all, but they do the job for the price. They are also pretty big. It's really easy to bump them out of your ears or if you turn your head a certain way they come out. They are not ideal for running. I am now just using them if

I'm sitting at my desk or laying in bed listening to music.

I use these for my Smart TV. They sync up really quick. The battery life is great and I use them a lot. Probably me just getting older but they do make it easier to follow along with dialogue. Don’t get me wrong my tv has great sound but it seems like every bit of content has different sound control. It was annoying but now these inexpensive earbuds really work great. I have Powerbeats pros and those were $200 when I got them years ago and they have pretty much been a pain. They’re always having issues in the charging case. I almost always have a dead one when I go to use them. I watched all 3 of the expendable movies and Transformers 4 with the JBL’s in last week because I was bored and I’m really impressed now more than ever.
