BATON ROUGE, LA – MMR proudly received three Excellence in Construction Awards at the 33rd Annual National Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Awards Gala for exceptional performance on three notable projects in Louisiana and Texas.

MMR received two Eagle Level Awards, the highest honor a project can achieve, for its Dow LAO – Frigate Project and ExxonMobil – Mississippi River Feeder Installation Project, and one Pyramid Level Award, the second highest honor a project can achieve, for its Gulf Coast Growth Ventures Project.

ABC’s National Excellence in Construction Awards celebrate superiority in merit shop construction. The gala, held in Kissimmee, Fl., on Thursday, March 16th, honored the year’s most outstanding construction projects and contractors for extraordinary achievements in leadership, safety, innovation, inclusion, diversity and equity.

Winning Projects:

Dow Frigate Project, Plaquemine La.

Eagle Award, ABC National

MMR was contracted by Dow for a unique project to provide construction management, execution and commissioning assistance for the electrical and instrumentation portion of their new Alkoxylation unit also known as project Frigate in Plaquemine, Louisiana.

ExxonMobil Mississippi River Feeder Installation, Baton Rouge, La.

Eagle Award, ABC National

MMR was contracted by ExxonMobil to provide construction management, execution and commissioning assistance for the electrical portion of their high voltage feeder cable installation under the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
