Is Streaming A Viable Career?
Streaming As A Viable Career

We all know how popular is streaming at present? Watching streams of various categories such as horror, funny, informational, historical, entertainment, etc is one of the main pass times for people of all ages. It’s also one of the best places to stream your talent on a global scale.
And now its popularity has reached such a level that people are now choosing it as a career. But is it viable?
If it were in the past it might have been quite far-fetched since not everyone could afford to buy the filming equipment needed to become one. Or even have access to platforms that would pay for it.
But now things are different. Nowadays there are various platforms out there that would pay you for the stream that you deserve. And as for filming equipment, this is the 21st century for crying out loud. Digital technology has advanced at quite a high level and is upgrading at a breathtaking speed. Now you don’t need a high-end camera to film your streams. You can just use the camera on your mobile phone and make one. As for customizing it, you don’t have to be an expert video editor for it either. Nowadays there is various software out there that have pre-loaded animations, intros, etc which can enable anyone with basic knowledge on how an app works. This is not only regarding PC software but phone apps as well.
But is everything that easy? Make a video and upload it on streaming platforms and get paid for it. If it were that easy then everyone would have chosen it as a career and became a millionaire by now.
Streaming platforms like Youtube, Twitch, Streaming Plug, TikTok, etc. don’t pay their streamers just cause they upload videos on their sites. Some pay depending on the number of views and followers that you have. While others might help you to get noticed by businesses to get sponsorship offers for advertising their products on your streams. But you still need to have several followers and views for you to get noticed by them.
And believe me, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Just think about it, there are lots of streamers and channels popping up on the streaming platforms that upload videos regularly. But not all of them have a high number of views or followers. Some have even been on the platform for years before they could start earning from it. And that was only possible when they didn’t give up on it. In other words, like all other jobs where you can earn from home online, you have to have patience and keep giving it your all. Some may find success after a few tries while others might struggle a bit.
Yeah I know now you might be thinking, should you even consider it? Well, there are pros and cons in every prospect of life. The same goes for streaming as well. Yes, it is hard to find enough views or followers to get noticed by audiences but it’s not impossible. Also, it’s one of the most flexible fields there is. You can make streams on anything you like there are no harsh restrictions. You can start a live online workshop or make a live music streaming platform or make funny comedy videos and many more. The sky’s the limit.
Termination
All in all, if you like making videos and want to earn while making them it’s a viable option. But you have to have patience. Cause if you don’t have a number of audiences then making it a success in a short time can be challenging. But if you keep your calm and never give up and keep making videos with dedication I am positive you would make it big in the long run.
