The work area is the one where you spend the most time in a day and the one where you need the most creativity. Unfortunately, we don't pay much attention to the layout of the office, so we feel as inspired as possible, maybe because there are always a lot of things on it, stacks of papers and files.

Often, the office becomes a real embodiment of bureaucratic hell, and we come to hate it deeply. The solution is to learn some design tricks that "take" the genius out of us and help us love the workspace!

Here are the most valuable office design tips, with the help of which you will considerably increase your productivity, creativity, and intelligence at work, but also at home!

Office design: how to increase your productivity

Even if you don't necessarily believe in Feng Shui, there are a lot of office planning tips that would help you get inspired and get the genius out of you! Workspace is very important and directly influences your mood and energy, which further affects your performance.

Consider the following office design ideas if you want to feel better when you work:

1. The office space should be as free as possible, so the first and most important arrangement suggestion is to clean your desk and get rid of all the little things you don't use.

It is proven that a busy space affects thinking and the mind, in turn, becomes busy and chaotic, which limits your productivity. It is also important to leave a small corner completely free, which will create the feeling of airy space.

2. Customize your workspace! It's not for nothing that you see pictures of your favorite family or mugs on the desk. Even though it is not recommended to keep things that you do not use too much, this is an exception.

A picture with your loved one or a favorite object will make you feel at home and you will feel much more inspired because you will be in your little comfort bubble.

3. If you like the office to be decorated and have personality, choose to use yellow flowers as decoration. This color inspires, enhances creativity, and helps you come up with new ideas.

If you don't want to use real flowers, even a picture frame with yellow flowers can help you be more productive.

4. The office must be located in an area with sufficient light. The darkness in the room also causes mental "darkness" and you will feel how all your good ideas are blocked.

The more natural light you have, the better inspiration and mood you will have. This advice is especially true if your work is creative. It would not be bad to have your office right next to a window because sometimes it is beneficial to "escape" and spend a few minutes admiring the landscape or the people outside.

5. Don't forget the importance of shelves, on which you can put a lot of folders and other objects, to free up more office space. The shelves are also very good for storage, so you don't have to search for minutes for the item you need.

And if you use a smart filing system (alphabetically or by date, for example), you'll save valuable time each day, which will help you be more productive.

6. Invest in a comfortable office chair. Many of the problems with the spine today are caused by an incorrect position in the office, but also by the use of inappropriate chairs.

No one can work well if they experience stabbing in the back or the feeling of numb feet. If you spend 9 hours sitting at a desk, it is not at all out of place to invest a larger amount for your comfort!

7. The office will be a much more pleasant space if you put a few plants near the workspace. These help you relax and studies show that they increase productivity.

Choose some plants that you like to look at, because they are, after all, decorations. Another advantage of using plants in office design? Oxygenates the air, which helps you more than you can imagine!

Office design is an important step in your productivity and you will feel much more inspired and relaxed in your workspace if you follow the tips above!
