Create and Sell an Online Course

If you have expertise in any subject, you can turn that into an online course that other people can buy. You might help people build their confidence, teach them how to make a living without a traditional job, or walk new entrepreneurs through the basics of starting a business. Most online course platforms, like Udemy, Teachable, or Skillshare, don’t charge any upfront payment. Instead, you keep 100% of the profit from each sale. Some platforms may take a small cut, but it’s worth it to have no up-front costs and the flexibility to set your hours. What’s more, online courses have a long track record of success. A Stanford study found that online courses have a significant positive impact on both learners and instructors. Teachers whose courses are offered online earn 10 to 25 percent more than those whose material is offered only in face-to-face settings.

Become an Online Freelancer

If you have a specific skill, such as programming or designing, consider offering your services online through an online freelancing website. You can start building a client base, and eventually earn a full-time income. If you have a skill that’s in high demand, you can earn thousands of dollars every month. Sites like Upwork, freelancer, and, Fiverr are online marketplaces for businesses to find skilled professionals for hire. Once you build a strong, positive reputation on one of these sites, you can earn ongoing work from satisfied customers. For example, someone might hire you to create a website from scratch. You’d build the site and then get paid to maintain the site moving forward.

Start a Blog

Blogging is a great way to earn a passive income that can supplement or replace your current income. There are millions of blogs on the internet, so you have plenty of company, and many ways to monetize your blog to make money. Some popular methods include advertising, affiliate marketing, and selling your products. Many bloggers also earn money from teaching their readers skills, like how to make money from home, how to get published, etc. If you’re just starting out it’s important to keep your overhead as low as possible. You don’t want to be in a situation where you’re spending all your time trying to find ways to make money instead of actually blogging. Blogging on a free blog website like WordPress.com is a great way to get your feet wet. Once you have your blog up and running, there are tons of ways to monetize it.

Write and Promote eBooks

If you have a specialty, you can write and sell e-books on Amazon. You can write on any subject, and as long as there’s a demand, there will be people willing to buy what you’re selling. For example, if you’re an expert in gardening, you can write a book about the best plants to grow in different parts of the country, or how to best care for them. Once your book is written, you can publish it on Kindle, where Amazon will do most of the marketing for you. You’ll earn a percentage of each book sale, and it won’t cost you anything to get your book on the virtual bookshelf.

You can easily earn a passive income month to month with this proven strategy that I mentioned in my other article + affiliate marketing article which will be out soon, here is some of it

Monetization alternatives for YouTube Shorts

There are plenty of other ways to make money with your YouTube Shorts, beyond paying Google to place ads on your videos. You can also try applying for WPMU Credits, Netflix or Amazon Prime and selling your closed-ended subscription-based services. There are also plenty of alternatives to subscription-based services which, when you think about it, makes more sense since YouTube Shorts are ad-free. You can avoid the headache of dealing with pesky subscription boxes and bills by letting your YouTube Shorts be consumed entirely free of charge.
