How To Get Your Life Together When You're 24 and Failing in Life
It's easy to feel like your life is a mess when you're 24. There are so many things going on in your life, from starting a career and figuring out what kind of person you want to be, to feeling lost about the future and wondering if you'll ever be happy. But it doesn't have to be that way! If you take some time every day to think about where your priorities are, what kind of person/life you want to be or have, and how you can achieve those goals by focusing on them every day—even just by taking small steps at first—you'll get there sooner than you think (or maybe even later than expected).
Decide your priorities.
When you're 24, it can be difficult to figure out what's important in life. You want to do everything and be everywhere at once! But if you're like me and have no idea what your priorities are, then here's a tip:
- Make a list of all the things that matter most to you. This could include family or friends, work or school, hobbies or interests--any time-consuming activity (or lack thereof) that takes up space in your day-to-day life.
- Rank these items from most important on down until there are only two left standing at the bottom of your list--the ones that matter most above all else. These should be things like family members or close friends who will always come first before anything else; maybe even an animal companion if they make up part of this special relationship with them too!
Figure out what kind of life you want to live.
- Be specific about what you want, and consider whether it's realistic or not. If it isn't, can you make it so?
- Think about what you want your future self to be doing with their time and energy, then figure out how that fits into the rest of your life right now--and how much effort it will take for that vision to become reality.
- Consider whether your values are compatible with this vision; if they're not, why not? Is there anything in particular holding them back from aligning?
- Also think about what kind of person this new lifestyle would make me; am I prepared for the changes required by adopting such a way of living (e.g., less socializing)?
Write down your goals using a Planner
- Your life goals, professional goals, and career goals should be written on one piece of paper.
- Your personal and financial goals should be written on another piece of paper (or several pieces).
- Your health and fitness goals can be kept in your phone or online calendar so that they're always available to view when you need them most!
These are some planners you can get from Amazon for under $30:
I have this one :)
Find a mentor or someone to help you achieve your goals.
A mentor is someone who has been in your shoes, knows the ins and outs of life, and can help guide you through it. They'll give advice on how to get through difficult times, offer encouragement when things are going well and make sure that you stay motivated when it comes time for hard decisions.
Mentors are great because they help keep us on track with our goals by making sure we're taking steps towards them every day (or week). They also give us an idea of what's coming next so that we don't have any surprises along the way--which is particularly helpful when things start getting tough!
Start small and do the things you enjoy doing.
Don't worry about the big picture. Start small and do the things you enjoy doing. Don't compare yourself to other people and don't feel like you need to be doing something more impressive than what they are doing. Focus on what works for you, and try not to get caught up in comparing yourself with others too much.
It's okay if your life looks different from other people's lives right now--that doesn't mean anything except that our lives are all different! If someone else seems like they have it together more than me, who cares? I'm still happy with my life as it is now--and so should everyone else be happy with theirs!
Here is an example, I picked up UGC Creation and I share my journey on tiktok:
Keep a list of your daily achievements and reminders of your goals so you can see them every day.
For example, if you're trying to lose weight, keep a list of your daily achievements. Write down everything that you did that day that helped you move towards your goal. You could also make a list of all the things that went wrong and how they affected your progress (but this is optional).
Keep these lists somewhere visible so they are always on your mind. If possible, print them out and put them somewhere where they will be seen every day--like the fridge or bathroom mirror! This way it will act as a reminder of what needs to be done in order for success in life.
Don't give up until you reach your goal or get to where you want to be.
As you can see, there are many things in life that may prevent you from getting your life together. But as long as you're willing to work hard and keep trying until the end, then there's no reason why this shouldn't be possible.
Don't give up until you reach your goal or get to where you want to be!
You can have an amazing life no matter what's happening in it right now, as long as you focus on the right things and don't lose hope!
If you're feeling like your life is going nowhere and that you're stuck in a rut, it's time to get yourself together. You can have an amazing life no matter what's happening in it right now, as long as you focus on the right things and don't lose hope!
Here's how:
- Focus on the right things. Make sure your goals are realistic, so that even if they take longer than expected or are more difficult than anticipated, at least they won't be impossible for you to achieve. If your goal involves helping others (like being a firefighter), then work hard until that dream becomes reality!
- Don't give up until reaching your goals; be patient and don't rush things either!
Conclusion
When it comes to getting your life together, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. There's no magic pill or quick fix that will make everything better overnight. The only way to achieve your goals and live the life of your dreams is by taking small steps every day toward achieving them--and even then, it may take years! But don't let that discourage you: even if you feel like everything is falling apart right now (because who doesn't?), there are still things in this world worth fighting for.
