This is what I did, and it nearly increased my daily revenue from my existing articles.

Your best advertisement is quality. The more quality information you can get in front of your audience, the more people will read it. And the more people who read your work, the more money you'll make.

Based on this fundamental principle, I began to investigate how I could increase the number of people who saw my highest-quality words.

The clever method to read your stats

There is a clear link between the number of views your stories receive and the amount of money they bring in. A higher number of views equates to a higher income.

My most-viewed, second-most-viewed, third-most-viewed, and fifth-most-viewed stories are also my most-viewed, second-most-viewed, third-most-viewed, and fifth-most-earning stories. The exception is my sixth most popular tale, which also happens to be my fourth-highest earner. This, however, does not contradict the idea that having the most views equates to having the highest revenue.

Based on this information, I determined that I needed to consolidate my most popular stories into a single high-traffic location where they would receive the most attention. In a moment, I'll show you how I do it.

Keep an eye on your SEO.

I'm listening to The Writing Cooperative's podcast. Before releasing his pieces, I overheard one of the best writers explain that he always double-checked his SEO.

Before I publish on my blog, Substack, or Medium, I always modify the Meta or SEO Description by going to More Settings, or Yeost SEO on my blog. This is significant since your SEO Description is the line that appears beneath your headline when Google displays a list of solutions to a user's search query.

The SEO Description, also known as the Meta Description, is the statement that persuades searchers to read your content by clicking on a Google answer. This description is crucial for attracting readers from all across the internet to read your work. These people could become new subscribers to your blog.

This is a really efficient approach to ensure that your article lasts a long time. Have you ever clicked on a Google response only to discover that the tale was published years ago? Despite its age, Google puts the item on page 1, which means it can still attract users and perhaps earn money for the author.

Make a page with a lot of traffic.

Your goal should be to create a single high-traffic page with a collection of brief descriptions and links to all of your most popular tales.

You want a place where your viewers can quickly locate the content they're most interested in. When Amazon sends you a list of the most popular purchases for the week, they are doing exactly that. Netflix accomplishes this by displaying what is "Trending Now in your country." eBay accomplishes this by sending you "Did you forget" reminder emails. They're all concentrating on what your cookies indicate you're interested in.

Your "most viewed" stories are the ones that have piqued the attention of your current readers — and they're the ones that are most likely to pique the interest of new ones.

One story in particular stands head and shoulders above all others I've ever written. Every month, it receives hundreds of views and continues to be one of my top earnings. This is my most popular page right now.

Of course, I keep an eye on my data to check if any newer stories are outperforming my top views story. I'll make an article that gets more views than my current champion my new high traffic page as soon as I detect it.

Create a story based on your own most popular stories.

Have you ever noticed how traffic bottlenecks usually seem to occur in the same locations?

The reason for this is that many individuals prefer to travel that way. On the internet, where individuals like to congregate in the same places, the same natural law applies. It is quite difficult to relocate people.

I don't feel it's worth the work and expense to try to move people for us "little fry." Giving customers more of what they want while they're at a place they like to visit is a lot easier and more profitable. This is why McDonald's is constantly promoting new menus to existing customers, while Disneyland is constantly adding new attractions. They aim to increase the amount of money they make from their current consumers.

Your goal should be to increase the number of times your existing readers read your content.

Headlines and links can help you make more money.

The purpose of your headline is to entice readers to read more.

As a writer, your goal should be to provide good value in exchange for your readers' time. As a result, you should take advantage of any opportunity to guide your readers to the stories that your research (numbers) indicates other readers have found most useful.

I don't mean you should pack click-bait links into your high-traffic posts. But what I'm getting at is that your readers will often want to read more of your content, and you should make it easy for them to do so by giving links to past pieces that have piqued their interest.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article.
