How To Become An Authority On Forums & Online Groups

Okay today lets talk about posting in forums and online groups because there have been many people who have trouble with certain things and I want to help the process of gaining credibility, authority and ultimately get business for you. So lets’ begin!

People have often talked about how hard it is to gain traction in forums and online groups and quite frankly, I don’t get it. I have gotten the best traffic from forms and so have my clients. With that being said, lets clear up the mystery so you can succeed faster, and smile for years to come, shall we?

Now just to be clear that posting isn’t the easiest, most simple process because you need to be consistent, give tons of value, and yes, it can be quite mindless. It’s a matter of finding finding the best posts to reply to and give the highest quality answers you can give and with those answers, you give them tremendous value. Because people join people who they know, like, and trust and aspire to be like.

Generally speaking, it takes 2 to 3 months of posting to be considered trustworthy and gain that traction you're looking for.

Now, with that being said, is this for everyone and their mother? Heck no, BUT if you accept that this is a long term strategy to gain a ton of business, respect, credibility, and authority... The world is your oyster.

If you are not so flexible and say, NOPE I am too impatient, then this is not for you. That is being brutally honest with you.

Just suppose you have written a few super-awesome articles, shot a few videos on YouTube, now we get to the next BIG part... The part that separates you from most others... And gives you more business than you thought possible...

The interview!

So you may ask me, well Adam that’s all and great but where do I get interviews?

Well you see, when you are consistently making articles, giving a ton of value, and making a name for yourself, you will naturally start getting requests for interviews.

With me, I have gotten a TON of requests for interviews and it got to become a huge headache as I didn’t have much time for them because I have a life and a wife to kiss and hug and juicy hamburgers to eat.

If I said, yes Batman, you may interview me, then accepted Ellen and 500 others... I wouldn’t have the time to give you these trainings, would I?

Because my goal is to make the deepest impact on the world, give back, and open the world of unlimited potential to those who are new and want some guidance.

So, lets say you’re starting out and you’ve written a few hundred articles and published them on your website...

Now you write one hundred more and post them here, there, and everywhere and now you’re starting to rank on Lifehack.

And in addition your website is ranking in google and your articles are ranking in the forums.... Well now the magic starts to explode and your mind blows because you will almost be guaranteed to start getting interview requests.

You may ask me, well Adam, how do I know if the interview is a good one to even go to and that it will make more business happen for me?

Here’s a very simple answer for you – do every single interview you get. That’s right, ever single one because they all matter. Good, bad, beautiful, ugly... All interviews will work for you. Another great thing to do, and something I always recommend, is to ask the interviewer if you can have the rights to record the interview because after all, he or she will also use the interview for marketing purposes.

If he or she says no, then say thanks for your time but I will go with another interviewer.

Because you want to have that recording for your own marketing too.

So now they’re going to interview you, and you can record that baby and put it on your website as Interview By What’s-His-Name and that will give you instant credibility and authority because people who view that will see you as a leader just like the interviewer. You become like a celeb and enjoy the business that flows from it later on.

Now you can share that baby on social media, other platforms, and voila you got a huge marketing powerhouse from just one interview!

Just suppose that 50 different people over the next year interviewed you, and all 50 show up on the front page of your website, and they're also starting to show up in Google, guess what happens now? Oh yeah! Now you have instant credibility!

You may ask, well isn’t there some kind of 3 step formula for instant success? Well some gurus may say, yes if you do this 3 step formula you will make a billion dollars and eat chocolate bars in a Lambo in 3 months...

But unfortunately unless you know a genie, you won’t be able to get instant success in business. Because it takes time and effort.

So as you’ve learned, you know what your website is going to look like, you know how you are going to make a deep impact on the world, and you can start to change the world for the better one post at a time and you also know to share that post with everyone you can.

Another thing to, if you have 100 friends on Facebook, and I’m sure many of you do, and you make a post saying, I just started a new business, would you support me and share? Now just suppose a number of them say you’re spamming them. Let me ask you this, would you truly want unsupportive people on your friends list or would you rather have positive and upbeat people that do support you?

If people are negative, and don’t see the great light that’s inside you ready to shine a guiding light on the world, don’t feel obligated to keep them there. Be grateful that they were there and more grateful that you can make new friends that share your vision. Remove the bad eggs from the batch for the new ones to grow and sprout new followers.

Don’t be scared about the change, know that the change will make you feel better in the end and will make a huge impact in the world as a result.

So if you have people that dislikes your business and they want to unfriend you, let them go and know that life goes on and that you don’t need negative Nancy's in your life. This is the path of self development and this a great path of growth that you will embrace sooner or later.

Believe in yourself, your business, where you want to be, and feel good about it. If you want to get a business card, get one. If you want to talk to people about your business, talk to them. You have the power within you to affect great positive change in the world and people should know about it. So don’t be afraid to tell them.

When you see your website as a social project and let it become exactly that, that is when you will start to see magical things happen.
