Herbs and Healing~
Something I've been studying and using for many years now is natural healing, and it is something i recommend to everyone. Natural healing is great for all common sickness , some skin conditions, healing wounds and even for beauty therapy too! A really common natural medicine is honey and lemon for coughs and colds but a more traditional version of that is actually honey and onions! In a jar , stuff in some sliced raw onion and then coat it in delicious honey. after a few hours of sitting in the honey the onions let out a juice. Grab yourself a second jar and a strainer and pour the mix into the new jar through the strainer and you'll be left with a cough syrup to store in your fridge. One very important thing to remember when medicating yourself is to always use in moderation. Just like over the counter or prescribed medication, natural remedies can have adverse side effects if used incorrectly.
Another natural healing subject I've been recently studying is Aromatherapy, it has so many amazing benefits and I've already started using it in my everyday life. In my day to day life I've started using essential oils, currently using tea tree oil for both treating a skin condition I have and for using in my home made cleaning spray , tea tree is also great for acne/spots. NEVER use essential oils directly on your skin , all essential oils have to be diluted with a carrier oil before being used on skin. Another thing to remember with essential oils is how much you are using. Young children and babies should not have essential oils used on them or around them (in a diffuser.) Pregnant women should use a much smaller amount , same with children and elderly. Aromatherapy can be used in a few ways, some are , topically which is applying to your skin in oil blends or healing salves, diffusion , which is inhaling the aroma's and then last is internally , which is ingesting the oils. Internal aromatherapy is a very risky thing to do and should only be done when in the care of a professional aromatherapy practitioner. Incorrect use on internal aromatherapy can cause serious medical conditions , such as liver failure. Please leave this method for professionals.

Brighter mood recipe:
Mix 5 drops of Bergamot oil with 5 drops of coriander oil in a diffuser for a fresh, happy atmosphere that also kills germs and stimulates the immune system.
Natural healing from home has many benefits , natural products going into your body is much better than synthetic medication, medicating from home also free's up appointments at your doctors office for the people who really need it and in general in much better for the world. Remember natural healing is only for minor issues or in some cases to help with long term illnesses. More serious health issues will need medical attention from your local doctor or hospital, but the idea is to treat as much as you can from home. Please insure you research the subject well before diving into healing yourself and remember moderation is key. These methods may not work for everyone and does take longer than synthetic medicine too. Stay happy and stay healthy.
