Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Action,Adventure and Comdey

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 picks up some time after the events of the previous film. The Guardians, led by Star-Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), have been taking on missions for the Nova Corps and have gained a reputation as a formidable team. However, their past catches up with them when Rocket (Bradley Cooper) steals a valuable artifact from the Kree, a powerful alien race.
The Kree send Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) to retrieve the artifact, but he is defeated by the Guardians. As they celebrate their victory, the team is ambushed by a group of mysterious attackers who abduct Star-Lord. The remaining Guardians – Rocket, Groot (Vin Diesel), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), and Drax (Dave Bautista) – set out to rescue their leader and uncover the truth behind the attack.
Their search leads them to a distant planet where they discover a new ally in the form of Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), a powerful being created to destroy the Guardians. However, Warlock has a change of heart and joins forces with the Guardians to take on the real threat: the High Evolutionary (David Bowie).
The High Evolutionary, a genetic scientist obsessed with creating the perfect beings, has been experimenting on various alien races in his quest for perfection. He has now set his sights on Earth, and the Guardians must stop him before he unleashes his ultimate creation – a being known as "The Perfect One."
With the help of Warlock, the Guardians launch a daring assault on the High Evolutionary's fortress. They face off against the scientist's various experiments, including a monstrous version of Groot, and eventually make their way to the heart of the fortress where they confront the High Evolutionary and his creation.
In a climactic battle, the Guardians manage to defeat the High Evolutionary and destroy his creation. However, the victory comes at a great cost. Star-Lord is gravely injured in the battle and sacrifices himself to save the rest of the team.
The film ends with a funeral for Star-Lord, where the rest of the Guardians pay their respects. As they mourn their fallen friend, they are joined by a new member of the team – Star-Lord's long-lost father, the legendary cosmic being Ego (Kurt Russell).
The final scene hints at a new adventure for the Guardians, as they set off to explore the cosmos with Ego and continue their mission to protect the galaxy from harm.
As they work on repairing the Milano, the Guardians are approached by Kraglin, who tells them that he has found something that could help them find Gamora. He shows them a small device that he claims was left behind by Yondu before he died. The device is a map that leads to a hidden planet called Morag, where there is supposedly a weapon that can defeat the Sovereign. The Guardians set out for Morag, with Rocket, Groot, and Kraglin staying behind to continue repairing the Milano.
On Morag, the Guardians find the weapon, which turns out to be a small metal orb. Suddenly, they are ambushed by the Sovereign, who have tracked them down. A huge battle ensues, with the Guardians using their various abilities to fight off the Sovereign's ships and soldiers. Eventually, they manage to escape with the orb, but their ship is severely damaged in the process.
Back on the Milano, Rocket and Groot work to repair the ship, while the rest of the Guardians try to figure out what the orb is and how it can be used to defeat the Sovereign. They discover that the orb contains a powerful energy source known as the Infinity Stone, which has the potential to destroy entire planets if it falls into the wrong hands. The Guardians decide that the best course of action is to take the Infinity Stone to the Nova Corps, a group of intergalactic police who can keep it safe.
As they make their way to Xandar, the planet where the Nova Corps is headquartered, the Guardians are once again attacked by the Sovereign. This time, however, they are joined by a mysterious figure who helps them fight off the Sovereign's ships. The figure turns out to be Gamora, who has been searching for the Guardians ever since she disappeared.
Gamora explains that she has been hiding out on a remote planet, trying to avoid detection by the Sovereign. She had been working on a secret project to create a weapon that could destroy the Sovereign's ships, but she needed the Guardians' help to complete it. Together, they work to finish the weapon, which turns out to be a massive bomb made from the parts of destroyed Sovereign ships.
With the weapon complete, the Guardians set out for the Sovereign's home planet to destroy their entire fleet. Along the way, they are once again ambushed by the Sovereign, but this time they are able to fend off the attack and make it to the planet. They launch the bomb and destroy the entire Sovereign fleet, but in the process, they accidentally awaken a dormant monster known as the Abilisk.
The Abilisk attacks the Guardians, but they are able to defeat it with the help of their new friend, Mantis. Mantis is a powerful empath who has the ability to manipulate people's emotions. She joins the Guardians on their journey and helps them navigate the dangers of the galaxy.
As they continue on their adventures, the Guardians are once again confronted by the mysterious figure who helped them fight off the Sovereign. The figure turns out to be Adam Warlock, a powerful being created by the Sovereign to destroy their enemies. Warlock explains that he was freed from the Sovereign's control and has now joined the Guardians to fight against his former masters.
Together, the Guardians and their new allies embark on a mission to save the galaxy from a new threat. They discover that a powerful entity known as the Magus is planning to destroy all life in the universe, and they must stop him before it's too late. With the help of Mantis, Warlock, and their own unique abilities, the Guardians must once again save the galaxy from certain doom.
The Guardians manage to take down the monster, and Rocket reveals that he had placed a fake fin on Drax's back, causing him to angrily chase Rocket around the ship. As the team settles in for the night, Groot creates a makeshift bed for himself out of Drax's coat, and the rest of the team drifts off to sleep.
The next morning, the team lands on a nearby planet to collect some supplies, but they are ambushed by a group of Ravagers led by Taserface (Chris Sullivan), who was once a member of Yondu's crew. Taserface and his men manage to capture Rocket, while the rest of the team barely escape. Taserface plans to turn Rocket over to the Sovereign for a reward.
Meanwhile, Rocket manages to escape his cell with the help of his new cellmate, a Ravager named Yondu (Michael Rooker). Yondu reveals that he was once part of a band of space pirates led by Stakar Ogord (Sylvester Stallone) and that he was exiled from the Ravagers for breaking their code. Rocket convinces Yondu to help him escape and retrieve the Guardians' ship.
Back on the planet, Gamora and Drax manage to find the location of Ego's planet in a book called "The History of the Infinity Stones." The two set off to find Peter and Mantis, leaving behind Baby Groot to watch over their captured ship.
Meanwhile, Peter and Mantis arrive on Ego's planet, where they are greeted by the man himself. Ego reveals that he is Peter's father and that he has been searching for him for years. Ego takes Peter on a tour of his planet, revealing that he is a god-like being with the power to create and manipulate matter. Ego tells Peter that he wants to teach him how to use his powers so they can rule the galaxy together as father and son.
Back on the Ravager ship, Rocket and Yondu manage to take down Taserface and his men and retrieve the Guardians' ship. However, Yondu is mortally wounded during the fight and dies in Rocket's arms. Rocket is devastated by the loss of his friend and finally breaks down emotionally.
The rest of the Guardians arrive on Ego's planet, where they are reunited with Peter. However, Gamora is suspicious of Ego's intentions and warns Peter not to trust him. They soon discover that Ego has been using his powers to impregnate countless women across the galaxy in order to create offspring with the same god-like abilities as himself. Ego reveals that he has been searching for the perfect child to help him conquer the universe and that he plans to use Peter to complete his mission.
The Guardians are horrified by Ego's plan and try to stop him, but he proves to be too powerful. During the battle, Mantis reveals that she has the power to put people to sleep and manages to subdue Ego temporarily. Peter then taps into his own god-like powers and uses them to destroy Ego from the inside out.
The Guardians mourn the loss of Yondu and continue on their journey through the galaxy, vowing to stick together as a family. In a post-credits scene, a group of Ravagers led by Stakar Ogord reunite with Yondu's old team to pay tribute to their fallen comrade. The group then sets off on a new adventure together.
