What is Google News or what does it do?

On Friday, September 27, Google, one of the world's largest and most popular search engines, turned 21.

Google is used by billions of people around the world, and for many, it has become an important part of their internet activities.

Google, of course, is no longer just a search engine, but a huge technology company.

On their 21st anniversary, find out 21 facts that you may not have known, unless you already 'Googled' them! The first one may not be surprising. Google is the most visited website in the world, meaning that most Internet users have visited this website at least once.

Google was started by two college students - their names are Larry Page and Sergey Brin. They wanted to create a website that would allow a comparative list of other webpages. The basis for this would be how many other websites linked to them. The word Google comes from 'googol' - which is the name of a special number. The number is: 1 followed by 100 zeros. Why did Larry and Sergey choose this name? They wanted the name to reflect the vast amount of data their website would search.
The first Google Doodle - a picture used to commemorate an important event or day on Google's home page - was created in 1998 to celebrate a festival called Burning Man. The Google founders thought it would be a way to communicate why they were absent from the office.
Some of Google's most memorable doodles are the discovery of water on the moon, and to celebrate John Lennon's 70th birthday. John Lennon's doodle was also the first video doodle. The first Google server was housed in a custom case made of Lego.
Google's headquarters is known as the 'Google Plex' and is located in Silicon Valley, California.

The Google Plex has a giant T-Rex-like dinosaur statue - often seen sitting on top of a number of plastic pink flamingos. Rumor has it that this is a warning to employees to never let Google go extinct.
Google's headquarters is huge and has lots of green space inside. Lawn-mowers are not used to mow the grass here. Instead, Google hires goats from outside.
Google is the first major technology company to offer free meals to its employees. Employees are also allowed to bring their pets to the office.

The Google Image Search was launched in the 21st -the inspiration was the green garment wearing Jennifer Lopez at the Grammy Award -winning ceremony. It became Google's most popular search.

Google's own email service Gmail was announced on April 1 or April 25, Fulse Day. Many thought it was actually a joke.

Google was included in the first dictionary (in the sense of 'Google') in the first dictionary. Miriam-Webster Dictionary wrote, Google means 'Use Google Search Engine to search for information from the World Wide Web.' The UTube is a member of the Google family in the 21st. Google buys YouTube at a price of more than $ 1.5 billion. Upload 5 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute.

A Google engineer once 'collapsed' the Internet system in the 21st. He accidentally added the forward slash ('/') sign to the registry of Google's blockade website. Since almost every website has the '/' mark, no website was entering online at that time.

5 percent of the search in Google search is the new - which has never been searched before.

Google became the first company in April 27, who were using 100 percent renewable fuel. This means that they are buying one kilowatt electricity per one kilowatt electricity. But they have decided that they will celebrate September 23 as a birthday.

Google has a variety of diplomacy. For example, if you search the word askew in English, you will see that the whole page is on one side.

As much computing capacity was used to send people to the moon on Apollo -1 - now only one Google search is used for almost that amount of computing capabilities.

Google is not just a search engine now. In the future, there will be artificial intelligence, streaming-based game play, even driverless cars.Start writing...
