Frustration

It Doesn't Mean Stop

By Mom's Passive PaycheckPublished 11 months ago 3 min read

Frustration

I felt it creeping in again—the slow burn of frustration.

It wasn’t loud at first. It started as a small sigh, a tightening in my chest, a lingering thought: Why is this taking so long?

Then it grew.

One rejection. One setback. One moment where I second-guessed everything I was doing.

And suddenly, frustration wasn’t just a passing feeling. It was all I could hear.

I wanted to throw my hands up. I wanted to walk away. I wanted to believe the voice in my head that said, Maybe this just isn’t for you.

Because when things don’t happen as quickly as we expect, when success feels slow, when we put in the work and see nothing in return—frustration is inevitable.

The Breaking Point

I’ve been here before.

Sitting at my desk, staring at my screen, feeling stuck between wanting something so badly and wondering if I should even keep trying.

It’s the moment where patience wears thin, where doubts start to sound like facts.

I tell myself:

“Maybe I’m wasting my time.”

“Maybe this is harder than it should be.”

“Maybe other people just have something I don’t.”

The temptation to quit is always strongest when we’re closest to breakthrough.

But I didn’t know that yet.

What Frustration Really Means

In the middle of one of my worst frustration cycles, I reached out to someone I admire—someone who’s been successful in online business, passive income, and entrepreneurship.

I half-expected them to tell me to pivot, to try something else, to maybe take a break.

But instead, they laughed and said, “Good. That means you’re close.”

Close?

How could frustration mean I was close to something good?

And then they explained:

“Frustration doesn’t mean stop. It means you’re stretching beyond what’s comfortable—which is exactly where growth happens.”

That moment changed everything.

I had spent so much time seeing frustration as a roadblock, when in reality, it was a sign that I was pushing forward.

The Moment I Almost Quit (But Didn’t)

There was a day I nearly shut everything down.

I had been working hard—blogging, creating content, setting up passive income streams—but nothing seemed to be moving fast enough.

I wanted instant proof that my efforts were working.

And because I didn’t see it immediately, I convinced myself that maybe it never would.

That’s the hardest part of any journey—the space between starting and seeing results.

But what I didn’t realize at the time was that progress was happening, even if I couldn’t see it yet.

The connections I was making. The habits I was forming. The skills I was learning.

All of it was building something bigger—but frustration was blinding me from seeing it.

So I kept going.

And weeks later? A sale. A message from someone saying my content helped them. A moment where I realized—this is working.

It was just taking time.

Frustration Is Part of the Process

Here’s what I wish someone had told me earlier:

If you feel frustrated, you’re not failing. You’re growing.

If success is taking longer than expected, it doesn’t mean it won’t happen. It means it’s happening the right way.

If you’re tired, discouraged, and wondering if it’s worth it—remember why you started.

Because frustration? It’s temporary.

But giving up? That’s permanent.

What Keeps Me Moving Forward

I built Mom’s Passive Paycheck because I knew other moms would face the same struggles—wanting more freedom, wanting income that works for their family, but feeling overwhelmed by the process.

That’s why I share everything I’ve learned—because I know how hard it is when you’re in the middle of it.

And I also know how rewarding it is when you push through.

So if you’re feeling stuck right now—if frustration is whispering that maybe you should quit—let this be your reminder:

You don’t need to be the fastest.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You just need to keep going.

Because the people who win?

They’re just the ones who didn’t stop.

Final Thoughts

Frustration doesn’t mean stop.

It means you’re on the edge of something new.

And when you push through it? That’s where growth happens.

So today, instead of quitting—take a breath. Reset. And march forward.

Because your success?

It’s waiting for you.
