My name is Jakayla mcgee and here’s my story. For the ones that don’t know me I’m “Kay Way” yea I know what you thinking “didn’t she just say she Jakayla mcgee” lol yes let’s just say I’ma little skitzfranic but anyways..

Passion is deeper than what you think

Have you ever had a dream? Of course you have everybody have dreams but what you call a dream and what I call a dream is two different things, let me explain. Dreams are things you have passion for more like a goal you want to me and with that being said let me spill the tea so just hold on a minute and keep reading. As a kid a had a thing for basketball always thought in my head that there was some way possible that I could go to the wnba or should I say the NBA lol you won’t get that joke unless you know me but anyways back to what I was saying. After all the practice, games, and workouts you would think that’s the reason I stop playing, HECK NAH! Let me tell you music always done something to me I mean the way it sounds , the beat just everything, I use to listen to my dad rap everyday and one day I was gah d... I can do that shoot probably can do it better and after that it was on and poppin do you hear me? I put that pen to the pad and it was over , I couldn’t stop, it came so natural, i mean everything I felt I wrote everything I heard I wrote it. When I was 10yrs old I started suffering with major depression and for some reason I couldn’t get myself out it I always felt like nobody cared , nobody was listening it was like being in my body but not living. But then everything started changing all that depression I was feeling turnt into anger I started becoming very violent and it was so bad that I had to get back to that pen and start back writing , I’m 21 now you can ask anybody you know that really know me and they will tell you I came along way. Passion is more than what you think sometime passion is the only thing to keep you sane. I love music and they love it , my family love it, my fans love it and ima keep making them proud no matter if they cut the lights off ..my dream is something they will never shut down,Chase your dreams.

The ending sounded good didn’t it? Let me tell you why I say that. I know I said everybody loves it but to tell the truth they don’t. I noticed that people only be around when it’s beneficial and don’t ever sit to think for one minute that not only do you love your passion but there’s a reason behind it. Ever word I write has a meaning behind it. Most people don’t know how to deal with pain or know how to deal with stress but with me there’s only one thing I know that will make all of that go away. Now see passion is deep and if you are really in what you say anybody will be able to notice it. People tell me all the time “dang Kay u so good at music” it’s not that I’m good it’s the fact that ever word means something to me and only the wise will understand and that’s also for the ones who can relate. I have been through a lot and I’m still going through things in life even though sometimes life get me down I still find my way to get back up. Honestly I look around and realize not everybody is really there for me but that’s ok because I know at the end of the day my music is what makes me happy my music is what keeps me sane my music is the only thing that will set me free from this pain.

Music is like medicine when it kick in and your gonna feel it. So when you say passion I have a different meaning. Some may look at it one way from they point of view but it’s always a different way to look at it. The lyrics is always something you want to pay attention to because that’s where you will catch things that you thought would never be said. You will be surprised what you hear and most of the time you are gonna hear things you thought you would never hear anybody come out and say. What’s your passion? What’s your dream? Why do people know what your passion about? All of these are very good questions and here’s my story and soon or later you will know the meaning.
