Delilah
It was in the middle of the week, and a semester at college had just just begun. I remember best how bliss it was, partying and taking up study in something that I love. What people don't tell you is that life is simple, live it like the way you love.
The sun was shining into my bedroom as it does every morning. I could feel the warmth on my face and hear the birds chirping. I open my eyes slowly and take in the sunlight shining on my face, I could smell the hot season coming. I turn over and look at the time, I'm running late for school. With ease I check my phone and notice I have a message from my neighbor.
"Want to smoke weed?"
I don't write back, and get ready for school. As I'm brushing my teeth my grandmother asks me from out the restroom door, "Frank are you hungry?"
"No," I reply with a tired voice. it turns out I don't have enough time to get ready, so instead of showering, I just wash my hair and apply hair product; also, I decide to just pick out clothes that don't need to be ironed. I pack my computer, grab my camera, then quickly put on my shoes and head out.
"Tu no vas a comer?" my grandmother asks as I'm leaving. "I'll get something from outside," I reply as I'm walking out.
I'm looking at my phone as I'm walking into the street, and notice that my class begins in thirty minutes, and it takes almost an hour to get there, so I text back my neighbor, "Yeah, where are you?" "I'm at the park."
I see them from the entrance, another one of my neighbors is there, a woman. We were all about the same age, the female was older than me by one year, and the male was younger than me by two years. She waves to me as I approach them and says 'hi' aloud. I wave and say 'hey'. The male neighbor nods 'hello'.
"Yo, bro you have the time?"
"let me check." I look at my phone and tell him.
"Don't you have class?" the woman asks.
"Yeah, I'm cool."
I see Delilah prancing through the grass.
"You going to take pictures today?" the woman asks. I've been bringing my camera out every day to take pictures, even to class.
"Yeah. I've been bringing my camera everywhere. Sometimes I go Central Park after class, take pictures," I tell them.
"Cool." she replies.
"Yeah, bro." he says.

It was year 2016 on Earth, and I was in the middle of my college career, studying filmmaking. In other words, I was learning how to use a camera to make movies–capturing moments of time to tell a story, and everything else. A college education is second to the most professional form of experience, working experience; I think that’s true, but I also like to think of college as just a good experience, and that’s because you’ll always only be as good as you try. Sooner than later I was to make my big break into the world of the highest fashion, and be a figure that does phenomenal things.
Delilah was walking through grass, though it looked more like hopping. Her big ears flopped down her narrow face like she didn't have a care in the world. I was with two other people whom I used to know in my early childhood. One who only cared about moving out of his parents home, and the other who had dreams of becoming a figure in the fashion industry. I don't remember them much, but I do remember that we had different perspectives.
