
Five Zonal directors of My V3 Ads Media held
Coimbatore: The race course police on Sunday arrested five zonal directors of My V3 Ads Media Private Limited for unlawfully assembling at the district collectorate on Saturday night, urging police to release the managing director of the firm, even as 188 investors of the firm were booked for unlawfully assembling at the city police Commissionerate the same morning
The arrested five have been lodged in the central prison in the city.
A police officer identified the arrested people as Marul Mani, 47, of Vandikaranur near Thondamuthur; M Sivananaindha Perumal Mayakrishnan, 39, of tharuvaikulam in Thoothukudi District; N Praveen, 29, of thennamanallur; k Ganeshan, 37, of Kallampalayam; and V Vinayaga Moorthy, 54, of Neelikonampalayam.
“They gathered at the district collectorate around 11:30pm, urging police to release M Sakthi Anandan, 51, MD of My V3 Ads Media, who was arrested on the day for staging a protest at the city policy Commissionerate. They also did not allow police to discharge their duty,” he said.
The Race course police booked the five under sections 143, 341, 353 and 505(1)(b) of the Indian Penal code and produced them before a judicial magistrate, who remanded them in judicial custody.
Meanwhile, police also booked 188 investors of My V3 Ads Media under sections 143 and 341 of the Indian Penal code for staging a sit-in at the city policy Commissionerate on Saturday morning, seeking action against the YouTubers spreading false information about the firm on social media. While they were detained at a marriage hall, they were released at midnight.

The race Course policy interrogated the managing director of My V3 Ads Media Private Limited, M Sakthi Anandan, after taking him under their custody for a day, and produced him back before court on Thursday afternoon. He was subsequently remanded in judicial custody and send to the central prison in the city.
Anandan was arrested and lodged in the Coimbatore central prison under judicial custody on February 10, after he, along with more than 180 investors staged a sit-in at the city police Commissionerate, seeking action against the Youtubers circulating false information about My V3 Ads Media Private Limited, a multi-level marketing firm.
Race Course police inspector Arjun Kumar later filed a petition before the judicial magistrate court-IV, seeking police custody of Anandan.
The petition came up for hearing on Wednesday afternoon and the court sent him in police custody for a day. The court also directed police to produce him before it on Thursday afternoon.
