Can You Really Make Money on Vocal?
Is it possible to make a decent monthly income from Vocal Media?
I have this love/hate relationship with Vocal, and sometimes I want to put all my energy into producing content here, and sometimes I don’t. The question here is this:
Can you really make money on Vocal?
My honest answer is, you can make a few pennies, but you won’t get rich here; that’s for sure.
Here’s how you can maximize your income on Vocal Media:
Create a YouTube channel
I highly recommend creating a YouTube channel and repurposing your Vocal articles as videos. Once you post your videos, embed them into the articles you publish on Vocal.
This will expand your reach, and provide more opportunities to make money from your Vocal content.
Start a newsletter
Newsletters are goldmines. When you build a newsletter and collect emails, you can build an automated income by scheduling your newsletter posts for weeks and months ahead. Sell your digital product and affiliate products through your newsletter. Promote your newsletter in your Vocal articles, it’s that simple.
Yes, it’s simple, but it’s not. Because most people lack the tenacity and drive to go all in and build something for themselves, so they start the newsletter and then stop.
Promote affiliate products
This is easy money, but you won’t make a huge amount from Vocal with affiliate products. However, I still recommend promoting affiliate products in your Vocal articles. For example, book reviews, add your Amazon affiliate link. Tech reviews, again, add your Amazon affiliate link.
There are thousands of affiliate programs out there, pick one, use the products you want to promote, and create reviews, or tutorials. Add your affiliate link and when someone buys something through your link, you get paid a commission.
Create digital products
This is a big one for me, don’t rest on the income from your Vocal content, create some digital products and promote them through your Vocal articles. It’s easy because you don’t have to spend much on creating digital products. All you need to do is think of an idea for an ebook or course, create it using Canva, publish it on Payhip, Gumroad or Stan Store, and promote the link in your articles.
I’d strongly suggest that you create articles based on the digital products that you have for sale. For example:
How to make money with Google News
You would then create an e-guide about this topic and and add the link to your Vocal Media article.
Despite the challenges and mixed feelings about using Vocal Media, it is evident that creators can explore various avenues to generate income. While the platform may not lead to substantial wealth, there are practical strategies to enhance earnings.
Maximizing Income on Vocal Media
To truly benefit from Vocal, creators should consider diversifying their content formats. Establishing a YouTube channel allows for repurposing articles into engaging videos, broadening audience reach and monetization opportunities. Additionally, starting a newsletter can serve as a powerful tool for automated income through digital and affiliate product promotions.
Promoting affiliate products within articles offers another income stream, albeit modest. By integrating personal experiences with product reviews, creators can earn commissions while providing value to their readers. Furthermore, developing digital products such as eBooks or online courses can significantly boost income potential. By linking these products within Vocal articles, creators can leverage their existing audience for sales.
In conclusion, while Vocal Media may not be a goldmine for every creator, it provides a platform for those willing to invest time and effort into building their brand and monetizing their content effectively. With the right strategies in place, creators can turn their passion into a sustainable side income.
