Back on Track with a 100 Article Challenge - Edina Jackson-Yussif
Let's get back on track with another 100 article challenge

Back on Track with a 100 Article Challenge
Here we go with a new 100 article challenge. I’m known as the Queen of challenges; however, recently I’ve fallen off the wagon because I’ve been working on some important things. Also, life happens, and I don’t always have time to post on this page or any other page.
My main focus are my blogs and my businesses, but I still want to continue making a contribution to my online accounts such as Vocal Media and Medium. Although, I haven’t posted on Medium in a long while, it’s time to get back on track with that also.
So, what’s the challenge?
Well, I’ve done a similar challenge on Medium before, and it was the best decision I ever made. It was tough, but I got it done. So, here we go with another 100 article challenge.
Here’s the challenge:
- Post 100 articles on Vocal in the next 30 days
- Comment on Ten articles a day
That’s it.
I’m not adding anything else to the challenge because I’d rather focus on two tasks per day, rather than five or six. In the past, my challenges included posting, engaging with at least 20 articles a day, posting on several pages, and more.
Although, I will post on other platforms, including my blog. I won’t post daily. This challenge sounds too difficult right?
Yes and no.
The truth is, I write fast, I think fast, and I’m ready to get back on track after about six months of slow output.
I don’t feel good when I’m not creating and posting. It’s a lifestyle for me. It’s not work, it’s part of who I am.
Come to think of it, I’ve been posting articles online for more than a decade now, and honestly, when I started, my friends and family thought I was mad. In fact, I lost a relationship and most of my friends because they thought I was “wasting my degree” but I knew that I was making the right decision to fully focus on my passion and purpose.
My slogan used to be:
“Constantly creating content for the web”
It makes total sense, because that’s exactly what I do. Even on my worst days, I post something online. Even if it’s not an article, I’ll post a short video on YouTube, or an audio piece for Substack, or something. I don’t go a day without posting content on the Internet. I’ve fallen off slightly, but I’m ready to throw myself back into the content creation pool.
What will I write about?
I mostly write about lifestyle topics and entrepreneurship however, I will include some poetry into this challenge because I’m a poet at heart. I wrote my first poem at the age of four, and I’ll never stop writing and posting my poems.
In fact, recently, I published a poetry book inspired by Michael Jackson’s creativity. In the e-book, you’ll find 50 heartfelt poems about the Late King of Pop. I’m currently in the process of writing and publishing more poetry books and short stories too.
I’m also very passionate about supporting Black-owned businesses, and as a Black woman myself, this is close to my heart. So, you’ll find some content about Black businesses and brands, as well as the Black creator community, and I’m building 1 Million Black-owned Brands to support my mission of elevating Black businesses and creators on a global scale.
So throughout this challenge, expect to see articles about Black-owned brands, the Black economy, and Black creators.
Could you do a 100 article challenge? Or do you think it’s too much for you to take on? The truth is, I won’t write these articles daily. I’ll spend time batch creating on certain days, then I’ll publish them daily. The goal is to produce and publish 100 articles in 30 days.
Is it impossible? No, I’ve done it before, and I’ll certainly do it again.
No doubt.
Will you join me on this challenge?
