Café and restaurants are an inclusive part of socializing these days. Right from sports-themed café, multi-cuisine eateries, to retro-styled coffee houses, Drive-Thru, and Grab-and-Go these never fail to grab the eyeballs. More than anything else, what attracts us to these cafés are their eye-catchy themes, beautiful interiors, a mouthwatering menu, and other things. While some cafes, around us, are everything about soothing music, warm lights, and infinite internet connectivity with never-ending meetings with friends, colleagues, and some self-leisure time, there’s a café that lets you tell your ‘Half Baked Tales’. Well, yes! If you’re reading this in Patna then you surely know what we are talking about.
Located a bit away from the busy road of Rajeev Nagar in Patna, Bihar, Half Baked Tales (HBT) is the city’s first-ever book café, which has now become Gen Z’s new favorite hangout spot. What makes HBT everyone’s preferred café is not only its quirky interiors but also its freedom to sit anywhere you like, unlike other stores that limit the facilities in a certain way. HBT gives you a choice to pick up the bean bag and choose your favorite corner. Going by its name, this book café lets you sip your favorite coffee while you indulge in reading your favorite book.
The idea behind launching HBT was to create a place for creative minds where people like musicians find their first tune, songwriters find their first line, and entrepreneurs find their first startup idea. A few inside pictures see a kid posing against the Harry Potter graffiti, while a few other snaps see some fun activities happening at HBT.
Apart from having a cozy corner for bookworms, Half Baked Tales could also be a fun place for those who want to express themselves at an open mic or want to have a gala night at Karaoke, or are a big-time foodie. Not to mention, this book café treats its visitors with a lip-smacking menu that consists of continental food among other delicacies.

Guess what? That’s not it. HBT also has a special space in their heart errr… we mean in their café for game lovers. This book café has a dedicated Gaming Zone for those who want to spend their time their way. Last but not the least point one should know about this place is, it is going to make pet parents’ hearts flutter as it’s a pet-friendly cafe.
Speaking about its social media presence, one can find HBT’s Instagram pages with usernames like- ‘hbtpatna’, and ‘halfbakedtales’. It also has a YouTube channel and Facebook page to its name. HBT's YouTube channel recently became the talk of the town after they dropped the most-anticipated video of HBT goer Krishna Singh titled ‘Alvida’. HBT enjoys a following of around four thousand and five hundred people on YouTube. Earlier, a video, released on HBT’s YouTube page, titled Remembering Rahat, had garnered around 23K views.
