A FUN CONVERSATION WITH SARA YAHIA
ANSWERING YOUR MOST FUNNIEST QUESTIONS
Hi, I’m Sara Yahia.
Let’s have a fun and light-hearted conversation in this article, where I answer some of the questions I’ve been receiving lately. Many of you are curious about the person behind the professional and personal layers.
In Part 2 of “A Conversation with Sara Yahia,” I’ll reveal a few aspects of who I am today by answering some of the funniest and most unexpected questions you've sent my way.
Q: What’s the last show you watched?
Sara: YOU and The Handmaid’s Tale.
YOU: I know, it’s intense. But hear me out…I’m strangely fascinated by Joe Goldberg. Not because he’s a good guy (he’s not), but because Penn Badgley plays him so brilliantly. Watching him go from Dan Humphrey in Gossip Girl to this twisted, obsessive character was wild. It’s a strange comfort show, in a very odd way.
The Handmaid’s Tale: I’m Team Nick and June when it comes to chemistry and slow-burn emotional chaos. But if this were real life? I'd be Team Luke. He's the stable and responsible one. That said, in fiction, I'm all in for the morally gray love interests. Chaos with a side of charm gets me every time as long as it’s fictional.
Q: Favorite colors and why?
Sara: Black. It just makes me feel elegant and skinnier. It’s my go-to for a powerful and polished look.
Q: Go-to accessories?
Sara: Shoes and bags. Rings annoy me when I’m typing or doing my skincare routine. I love wearing long coats and boots.
Q: Long or short nails?
Sara: 100% short. Clean, practical, and perfect for everyday life and self-care rituals. I love a tidy look.
Q: Sweet or savory?
Sara: Salty food all day, every day. I’m not a sweet person ;) I’m a savory soul through and through, but I like my popcorn sweet, don’t get the whole butter on popcorn thing.
Q: Top 3 songs you listened to today?
Sara: My playlists are emotional roller coasters.
• “Worst Way” by Riley Green
• “Water” by Grace Kinstler
• “Duelo” by Kany García
Q: Top 3 destinations on your bucket list?
Sara: Japan, South Korea, and China. I want to dive into the culture, the traditions, and yes…the food! Mmm, yummy… some great sashimi or a spicy kimchi jjigae? Yessss, please! If you didn’t get it yet… I’m a foodie!
Q: If you had to choose one food for the rest of your life?
Sara: Pasta. Hands down. No need to explain why, come on… It’s sooooo yummy!
Q: If you could travel just for food, where would you go?
Sara: Italy. I’d go purely for the carbs and never look back: pizza, pasta, gelato, cannoli, espresso…
Q: Favorite drink?
Sara: Coffee. Black or with milk, or even with some cinnamon and cardamom in it. Morning coffee, afternoon coffee, even moody midnight coffee. It understands the assignment.
Q: How would you describe your sense of humor?
Sara: Witty. I love pushing buttons and seeing how people react, but always in a fun, non-cruel way. I enjoy subtle jabs and double meanings just to see who catches on.
Q: What's something people don't usually guess about you?
Sara: I’m a social introvert and an eternal romantic. I mainly read romance and dark romance novels, rooting for love stories with twists and messy, and the morally gray hero who will burn the entire world just to be and protect the love of his life.
Q: Morning person or night owl?
Sara: Morning person, 100%. I usually wake up around 4 am.
Q: If you were a Disney princess, who would you be and why?
Sara: Fiona. She is calm, grounded, strong, and secretly badass when needed. She chooses authenticity over appearances, and that’s a vibe I live by. Not your typical tiara-wearing type, but still royalty in her own quiet, rebellious way.
That’s a wrap for now! Feel free to drop your questions and comments below. I’m all ears! Until next time... XOXO
