5 Key SEO Tips For a New Website

1) Be Patient

It takes about 90 days for Google to actually start to build a little trust with you.. they don't want to see you come out and hit the gates running adding a bunch of backlinks to your new site, that's a big no! Google is not going to appreciate that very much so just take it easy and then just have a consistent gradual build-up over those first 90 days and then you can really start to get into the SEO practices that you do for older sites.

2) Consistency

This is important with a new site and a search engine optimization you know Google is going to want to see something consistent, they're always watching you! Google's going to send their spiders into your site and they're going to see what has been and what hasn't been posted so if you're going to be regularly posting to three times a week keep that up for the first 90 days. ideally, if you could do one post a day in those first 90 days Google's really going to love it, they want to see that you're active with your website and it's just not going to be stagnant.

3) Diversification

You want to have like fifty percent of your junk links and have your anchor text have little different variations and pretend like you're a beginner you don't know what you're doing so in your linking have your anchor text be like click here, download, you don't want to use those keywords all the time you know you want a kind of fool Google a little bit and just make them think that you really don't know what you're doing even though you do seventy percent of your links are to your inner pages within your own website and then just use a variety of keywords and don't leave a big footprint. Don't let Google know that you know what you're doing and so like I said just slowly build it up gradually and kind of play dumb.

4) Quality

You know this is a no-brainer for any time but you know since we're talking about a new site in the SEO process same rules applies. If you have an old site you want to have unique content, you want to have quality on-site content and you want to have your off-site SEO techniques going with your posts as well but again be very careful with those. You don't want to sandbox your site because if you do that if you build up too quickly and Google's notices say hey this doesn't look natural they're going to sandbox you and really instead of getting to somewhere where you need to be in six months it's going to set you back probably closer to a year so just be patient with it and this is the new game that we got to play.

5) Activity

First You know I'd like to build and bring trust with Google's friends.. we're talking about Facebook, YouTube, Twitter if we can start building some backlinks through there then we're starting to build a ring of trust. Those are sites that Google really trusts and if we can put our new web domain URL on to those sites then Google is going to really trust us in there so it's just building that ring of trust, be consistent and publish content weekly and and you know it's really important not to blast out 10 articles in one week and this sit back and do nothing for three weeks like I said it's all about consistency in these first 90 days with our new website SEO so if you're going to publish three articles a week stick to those three articles a week! Don't blast out a bunch and then sit back and think that it's all good. Yes you will have content out there but Google again, they're watching and they're sending those spiders.
