Advices to improve your life

1. Avoid excessive screen time and replace it with activities that nourish the body and soul: doing a sport activity that you like, writing (journaling is a great example, but any type of writing that you like, really), or things like workbooks, hobbies, passions, reading, or perhaps a good talk with a friend or a family member.

2. Spoil yourself (in a healthy way! 🙂) with treatments, be it spa, holistic therapy, psychological therapy, art therapy, etc. Saunas and cold showers aren’t really treatments, but those are really beneficial too, though not suitable for everyone and even if they are, stay cautious, don’t overdo cold showers and go to a certified spa for saunas/ if you have the money - buy a high quality sauna compound. It’s not self centeredness and egocentricity to go to treatments, it’s self healing, care, and love. Life is meant to be lived - and healing yourself is a part of that experience!

3. Spirituality may suit you (it may not as well). In any case, even if you plan to practice spirituality keep both your legs firm on the ground. Meaning, don’t overdo it. Find the balance between the spiritual and the physical. Disclaimer: the next knowledge about healing the chakras is from the book “Chakra Healing” by Margarita Alcantara. Healing our chakras is a good example for spiritual practice. You can do so with certain essential oils, good food, changes you make in your behavior, meditations, yoga and crystals (a good method for me is to go to sleep with crystals, might sound weird or that they might fall off your hands but it works, at least for me, I have the nicest dreams that way - and dreams are a gateway to your very soul).

4. Contribute to society! Express yourself in a way that serves other people, go volunteering, donate. It will do you good! Adding value to others gives more than it takes, if you do it in a healthy way and not in a way that takes away from you or in a way that disrespects you. Overgiving is not being good. It is betraying yourself. But giving is not only helpful to others, it alleviates the spirit. It is creating meaningful bonds with other people, that a lot of them share the same experiences, thoughts and points of view that you share. Some of them. Each person brings up a different aspect of your psyche, so that you can see who you truly are, and that humanity is one force, united. Also, honoring and treating kindly nature, animals - is very important, too. We are not above animals, we are not superior to them. They carry big hearts and have beautiful souls. We should respect them the way that they may respect us. So - a contribution to society with poise, self expression, authenticity, love and respect - what could be better than that? :)

5. Travel. If you love travelling, do it - don’t wait for an opportunity that never arrives. Be spontaneous sometimes, decide that you book a hotel and buy a plane ticket and travel the same day, if you can do so. It can be more expensive, but if you do it smartly, the sky’s the limit. For example, if it's the holiday season, know that not in every corner of the world it's a holiday. Just don’t go to dangerous places. If you can’t afford travelling abroad or interstately, go outside of your house, and watch the sunlight falling on a tree. Listen to the birds chirping. Observe the rich textures of the leaves or the sea or whichever natural object you look at.

6. Feel all of your feelings! Let them flow like a river. That’s an important tip, because when emotions are not felt, they get stuck, stagnant. They fill up your head with stagnant thoughts, your body with stagnant, frozen energy. It’s not advisable.

7. Have a balance between human connections and soulitude.

8. Have balance in all aspects of life as much as you can.

9. Feel safe in your own company, in your own body. Find people that make you feel safe.

10. Filter your thoughts, think healthily, beneficially, positively.

11 Last but not least: organize and declutter your physical spaces and life. By “organizing your life” I mean make plans, have goals, meanings you create for yourself, but also don’t overdo it or overachieve.

I love nr6. More people should just feel the feels (they go away so much faster if we let them come to surface). I kind of struggle with nr7 though, as someone living and working in the forest, being constantly on the move... I wish I'd have more local friends but I'm not local anywhere...
