chief's explosive accusations against Netanyahu and Angelina Jolie supports Gazans

Ronen Bar, head of Israel's Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency, has made a sensational accusation against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In an affidavit filed with the country's Supreme Court on Monday (April 21), he claimed that Netanyahu tried to force him to do illegal things for personal and political gain. He also alleged that the prime minister wanted to fire him when he refused to participate in these wrongdoings. In the affidavit, Ronen Barr stated that between November 2024 and February 2025, Netanyahu repeatedly asked him to take action against anti-government protesters. In particular, he pressured him to monitor those who were financing the protests.Prime Minister Netanyahu has claimed a different reason. His office says that the decision to dismiss Barr was made because of a loss of confidence in his failure to prevent the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack that sparked the Gaza war.Meanwhile, amid the tension, the Shin Bet is reportedly currently conducting a secret investigation into possible financial ties between Netanyahu's office and Qatar. Critics say Netanyahu is so desperate to remove Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar from his post that he is obstructing the investigation.Bar himself has admitted responsibility for the Shin Bet's failures and said he will announce his resignation date soon. However, he countered that the main reason for his dismissal was to protect Netanyahu's political and personal interests, not the failures of October 7.

Thousands of people are buried under the rubble, presumed dead.Israeli opposition leaders have called for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign immediately, calling him a "threat to national security," according to a letter from Ronen Bar, head of the Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency, reported Israeli television channel Twelve and the Anadolu news agency.According to a Channel 12 report, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar recently wrote a letter to the Supreme Court, in which he stated that Prime Minister Netanyahu had made various attempts to dismiss him.
