Bless Up!!!

My Name Is Meech, but as an Artist I go By Dextaboitru! I’m born and raised in Detroit Michigan, Home of Greatness!! As an Artist I Love what I do because it’s what I was made it to do! To Creat, to Innovate, to become the vision, then openly share it world!! On My Side You Gotta be Different, have yo own lane and style, but more importantly Mindset!

Where I’m from most men Never Get It (Dexter Blvd westside Detroit) until it’s too late, and thru the Grace Of God, despite my thinking flaws and mistakes growing up, I was able to see the Bigger Picture before I lost my life to the stress or prison, Now I Respect and Understand My Gift & I’m Grateful to be able to not only Hear Sound, but Feel It!! With ability to stop and listen, then embrace any Tone, Tempo, or Melody, I bring a collaboration of the World of Music, Ready For The Next Level of HipHop, Rap, R&B, Jazz, Techno, Gospel and all other genres in existence within the industry, I create and hear what’s next, sometimes before it’s Time!!

Ultimately, Music is Forever!! Being an Artist, I want the world to understand The Light Within The Darkness!! The neighborhoods and environments in my city are known for the worst, but with My music ability, I get to show and be Forever Remember For My Message, the fact that We Come From Trauma, which can mislead, if not destroy you and normally as youth we have to figure our way, My Way won’t be yours, and it won’t came easy, regardless of how the journey looks with Faith and Work There Is A Way!!

Coming Home from prison in 2021 was the biggest challenge!!! Learning the new way of the world, understanding the streets, and the industry overall!! It’s WORK! People get it confused about the fact that I put Blood Sweat In Tears into my craft, so I appreciate the love but don’t have time for bullshit or negative energy while I’m aiming towards greatness!! I Love Making Music!! And it’s a Passion of mine to create and to build a platform that shows growth and success from Nothing and the worst background!!

I aim to leave a Legacy that will reach the youth and provide inspiration to be better and do better then of which they’ve known or came!!

I realize that it’s power in my voice and making music tell him my story my trials, my tribulations, my hard times my success is my failures share my background, and my testimony will not only open the door and the others, but enlightening people of all ethnicities that is never too late That change is always available and that keeping God 1st is the Key!!

I learn Young that putting dedication hard work and effort into the things, you aim to achieve normally results in success, I made up my mind that no matter what I would come home and accomplish the goals I said for myself starting with getting off parole starting a career and beginning my musical journey, I’ve had the opportunity to be around legends great stages, perform at theaters, lounges, and clubs that are legendary but it’s just the beginning, so I thank Everyone that’s been with me on this journey, and just pray you all remember to give it your all, knowing whole heartedly that WE CAN BOSS UP and that success is not far away when your working everyday!!

Big Up To The RudeboyMafia,1Shade Teamgladiator on everybody else that rock on with me let’s get it!!!!

You've got a powerful story. It's amazing how you turned things around after prison. I can relate to the drive to create and share your vision. You mention the challenges of coming back to a changed world. How did you specifically adapt your music to fit the new industry landscape? And what advice would you give to other artists facing similar struggles?
