Kendra Hall & Jewelz Foundation: A Women’s History Month Spotlight on Empowerment, Wellness, and Bold Leadership
Leadership Spotlight

Vocal readers, please meet Kendra Hall. As the founder of Jewelz Foundation Inc., she has built a platform that not only uplifts individual lives but also creates a ripple effect across communities. This Women’s History Month, I turn the spotlight on Kendra Hall — a trailblazer whose insights from 2024 have reshaped the way she leads, mentors, and inspires women to step into leadership roles with confidence and intentionality.
Kendra’s perspective on wellness transcends the traditional boundaries of fitness and self-care. With many people feeling drained and stuck in survival mode, she is passionate about expanding wellness into a way of life — a lifestyle of intentional well-being. From her anticipated book Get Fit at Work, to innovative mental and emotional health strategies, mindfulness techniques, and boundary-setting workshops, Kendra is dedicated to making wellness accessible for everyone.
As you explore this feature, let Kendra Hall’s story serve as a powerful reminder that every setback is an opportunity for redirection and every moment of stillness holds the promise of renewal. Her journey is an invitation to all women to take charge of their narrative and to lead with intentionality, passion, and a commitment to nurturing their well-being every single day.

Reflecting on 2024, what unexpected lessons or breakthroughs shaped your journey, and how have they influenced the way you empower others today?
Kendra: 2024 was a year that reminded me faith and strategy must go hand in hand. I had moments where I wanted things to move faster, but God was teaching me that delays aren’t denials — they’re redirections. I had to step back and trust that sometimes doors don’t open because you’re being prepared for something greater.
This realization changed how I empower others. I don’t just tell people to “trust the process” — I help them understand how to discern when to push forward and when to pause. There’s wisdom in movement, but there’s also wisdom in stillness. That balance is something I now bring into my mentorship, leadership programs, and storytelling.
Which upcoming 2025 projects or new dimensions in your wellness initiatives are you most excited about, and how do you envision them making an impact in the lives of others?
Kendra: I’m excited about expanding wellness beyond just fitness or self-care into a lifestyle of intentional well-being. So many people are burnt out, stuck in survival mode, and constantly pouring from an empty cup. My focus this year is on helping people integrate wellness into their daily lives in ways that feel sustainable.
From simple, effective movement routines for busy professionals (like my upcoming book Get Fit at Work), to mental and emotional health strategies (like journaling prompts, mindfulness techniques, and boundary-setting workshops), these initiatives are all about making wellness accessible for real life. Because true wellness isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
And of course, Unbroken Jewelz is coming this year. It’s not just a book — it’s a mirror for those who feel unseen in their pain. This book will meet people where they are and remind them: Your heartbreak is not the end of your story.
Your work spans nonprofit leadership, storytelling, and transformative wellness programs. With Women’s History Month upon us, how are you celebrating the trailblazers who paved the way, and what message do you have for women striving to lead and innovate in today’s world?
Kendra: I celebrate the women before us by continuing their work. Their sacrifices weren’t just for us to remember — they were for us to move boldly, build freely, and lead without apology.
To the women leading today, own your expertise. Stop waiting for credentials, validation, or permission to step into the space you were meant to fill. The world doesn’t validate leaders — leaders step forward and claim their space.
Every woman reading this: You don’t have to wait for an invitation to lead. Show up. Do the work. Build something that outlasts you.

Unbroken Jewelz is set to capture real stories of heartbreak and healing. On days when challenges feel overwhelming, what personal rituals or sources of inspiration keep you motivated to continue your mission of empowerment?
Kendra: I go back to my foundation: faith, stillness, and movement. Some days require deep prayer, where I remind myself that this calling is bigger than me. Other days, I need stillness — journaling, disconnecting from social media, or just being present in the moment. And when my mind feels heavy, I move — a workout, a walk, or just stepping away from my desk.
But most of all, I remind myself why I started. The work doesn’t stop because I’m tired. Someone is waiting for what I’ve been called to do. That keeps me going.
Looking back over your career, which milestone stands out as the most transformative in your evolution as a leader and storyteller, and why does it hold such significance?
Kendra: The most transformative milestone was founding Jewelz Foundation Inc. I’ve written books, spoken on stages, and worked with incredible people, but seeing young leaders develop confidence, emotional intelligence, and a sense of purpose — that’s the work that outlives me.
A book can change someone’s mindset, but a foundation can change entire generations. That’s the kind of impact I want to leave behind.
What message would you like to leave our readers with to support their mental, emotional, and physical health?
Kendra: Take care of yourself as deeply as you take care of others. You cannot lead, build, or pour into others from an empty cup. Prioritize your health — not as an afterthought, but as a necessity.
Set boundaries. Move your body. Protect your peace. And most of all, be as kind to yourself as you are to the people you love.
If there’s one takeaway you want readers to carry with them about the work that you do, what would that be?
Kendra: Your story is not over. No matter what you’ve been through, you have the power to shape what happens next.
