Arbaz Jutt: Thank you for having me! I’m from Lahore, Pakistan, and I’ve been passionate about social media and digital marketing from a very young age. Growing up, I noticed how powerful social platforms were in shaping people’s careers, whether in music, fashion, or other fields. I decided to dive into the world of social media promotion and digital marketing because I wanted to help artists and brands reach their potential. Over the years, I’ve worked with numerous artists, helping them expand their digital presence and connect with wider audiences.
Interviewer: That’s interesting! As a social media promoter, what do you think is the most important factor for success on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook?
Arbaz Jutt: In my experience, authenticity is key. The audience can tell when someone is being real or just trying to sell something. Artists and brands should focus on building a genuine connection with their audience. Content needs to be engaging, whether that’s through storytelling, interactive posts, or high-quality visuals. It’s not just about posting; it’s about creating a relationship with your audience. Consistency also plays a huge role—being visible and engaging regularly helps maintain relevance in a fast-moving digital world.
Interviewer: You’ve worked with several artists—how do you identify the right approach to promote each one? What makes a social media campaign successful?
Arbaz Jutt: Every artist is different, and the approach must reflect their brand and style. For example, promoting a music artist requires a different strategy than promoting a fashion influencer or business. I first assess the artist’s niche, target audience, and goals. After that, I focus on creating content that resonates with the audience, whether it’s through videos, live sessions, or interactive content. A successful campaign is one that doesn’t just promote but also engages and builds a community. The goal is always to turn followers into loyal fans.
Interviewer: What challenges have you faced in your career as a social media promoter and how do you overcome them?
Arbaz Jutt: Social media is constantly evolving, and keeping up with trends and platform algorithms can be challenging. One of the biggest hurdles is getting through the noise—there’s so much content out there, it’s hard to stand out. But the key is staying updated with the latest trends and experimenting with new content formats. I also rely on analytics—knowing what works and what doesn’t helps refine campaigns. Overcoming these challenges requires adaptability and the willingness to learn and grow as the digital landscape changes.
Interviewer: Aside from social media, what are some of your personal passions or hobbies?
Arbaz Jutt: Outside of work, I’m passionate about technology and creative arts. I love experimenting with photography and graphic design. Those skills often come in handy when creating content for social media. I also enjoy traveling—it helps me gain new perspectives and inspirations, which I can then incorporate into my work. I believe creativity and innovation are sparked by exploring new places and ideas, so I try to stay curious and open to the world around me.
Interviewer: You’ve made a name for yourself in the industry. What’s next for you in terms of personal growth and career development?
Arbaz Jutt: I’m always looking for ways to expand my horizons. Personally, I want to continue growing as a digital marketing professional, learning more about SEO, content strategy, and branding. I also want to start working more closely with emerging artists and help them carve out their space in the digital world. In the long term, I’d love to set up a digital marketing agency that specializes in helping artists, brands, and influencers navigate the complex world of social media. There’s a lot of potential to make a real difference, and I’m excited for what’s next.
