Here’s what you should know about Trevon Card:

Q: As a rising actor and model in the entertainment industry, what motivates and inspires you to be the best at your profession?

My motivation comes from my children. Children have an amazing imagination. They can make a story out of a single toy or by their environment. Their imagination allows me to explore the art of storytelling. More importantly because of my experiences in life, I want to motivate others to be the best version of themselves. My connection to storytelling, the deep love for the craft of acting, and exploring different emotions and characters I feel can help others with whatever they’re going through.

Q: What led you to want to be an actor and model?

I’ve always been a huge movie and tv fan, particularly Marvel and DC comics. I remember meeting Denzel Washington at age 16. We were playing at a gym called the HAX. His son, Malcolm was playing for Windward at the time. I called him Mr. Washington, he laughed and said, “Mr. Washington is my father’s name.” I noticed the aura he had when people talked to him. The Book of Eli is one of my favorite movies. He used his talents to not only portray art on the screen, but to show that he is a man of God. As I grew in faith, I noticed the love and talent I have in acting and modeling leading to now being represented by CESD Talent. The desire to showcase my talent through different characters and emotions through performance has always been a passion of mine.

Q: Are you involved in any charity work? If so, how did you get started?

I love to give back and help out the community whether it’s at my children’s daycare ‘The Beginning Zone’ or at my church, ‘Light & Life West.’ It’s important to lend a hand to those who are in need. My future goal is to support charities who help single mothers in need.

Q: Any hobbies or other talents you have and/or like to do in your spare time?

I love football, basketball and golf. I also enjoy my karate classes. During my spare time, I love to be with my kids, work on my craft, or simply relax. I’m a real chill guy.

Q: What is your favorite genre in roles you would like to play as an actor (Drama, Comedy, Action, Thriller, a little bit of all)?

Huge fan of action and thriller movies but I love them all. I love Marvel and DC. However, I want to touch the audience in every genre.

Q: Can you share something people may not know about you?

I’m a twin lol. He’s my best friend and I can’t imagine a world without him.

Q: Can you share a story with us about what brought you to this specific career path as a actor/model?

The start of 2024 was challenging. A lot of changes happened in my life. With that, I felt a career change needed to happen. Ironically, while on vacation I received a call from a studio to do a photoshoot. The pictures came out great. The owner of the studio encouraged me to pursue this career. So I started taking modeling and acting courses. I knew I needed an agency that would help me perform at a top level. I came across a post on Instagram from my mother agency. I felt that was another sign. Industry Direct Models helped me in a tremendous way. Their knowledge and direction pushed me to work hard which eventually landed the representation with CESD.

Q: Can you share three reasons about why you think it’s important to have diversity represented in the entertainment business?

Diversity is important because of different backgrounds. Different cultures offer a range of diverse perspectives, knowledge, traditions, innovations, etc. We can all learn from each other.

Q: Can you please give your favorite “Life Lesson Quote”?

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.”‭

Q: Can you share how that was relevant to you in your life?

We are all God’s people. Don’t let your past define you. Work hard, grow spiritually, mentally and physically. Continue to trust the plan God has for you. It’ll work out.
