Famous Rapper Yung Cuse Almost Drowns Shooting A Music Video
“Can’t Put A Price On Love”

Today we interviewed Colby Smith, professionally known as “Yung Cuse”. This famous rapper was born was born on June 12th, 1994 in Syracuse, New York. Cuse was raised all over the country by a wonderful single mother, but ended up going to high school in Minnesota where he spent most of his early years. Here’s some questions we asked him.
Q: “Why do you love music?”
A: “Music for me is my get away. It’s one of the things in life that comes naturally and easily my biggest passion. I don’t write songs, I don’t plan out songs, I don’t even study how to make music. For me, it’s always been a way out mentally to express myself and how I feel. Being an artist has also helped me understand that not everything in life goes your way and how to deal with it. If I’m having a shitty day, I don’t go complain about it or keep that energy, I’ll go to the studio and sing it out. Sometimes the best songs come from the worst pains.”
Q: “What makes you different as a music artist?”
A: “I don’t compare my music to anyone, and I definitely think my music is separated from any other as well because you can’t put me in a genre. Music isn’t about style, it’s about originality & genuism.
Q: “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”
A: “I would like to see myself with a plaque. It’s been a dream of mine since the first day I started rapping to receive a plague with my boy IcebergWantABag.”
Q: “What do you want to accomplish?”
A: “My biggest goal in life is to make an impact on the world.”
Q: “What do you want to be remembered for?”
A: “Working my ass off. To me remembered as the artist who didn’t quit on himself. To not only make great music but to also help others understand no matter what they are going through that they aren’t alone.”
Q: “Who inspires you?”
A: “Juice Wrld and NBA YoungBoy have been the biggest musical inspirations to my career. Juice taught me how to turn pain into beauty. He also taught me how important love is in this dark world. YoungBoy taught me how to believe in myself and to shut out all negativity. I wouldn’t be the artist I am today without those legends. However, my mother is my biggest inspiration. A hard working single mom with 2 troubled kids was all I needed to see what it took to get where I want to be. Nobody has had more obstacles than my beautiful mother & nobody has ever inspired me more than she has.”
Q: “What do you bring to the music world?”
A: “I have so much music coming out in 2025. I finally have the rollouts my fans deserve and have been wanting. A new music video every month for 6 months straight is how I will be starting the year and I couldn’t be more excited. I have a green screen video coming soon I’m really excited for. Not to mention I have been blessed to have worked with the goat himself, Isaac Garcia, you keep your eyes open for what we got coming!”
Q: “What’s a fun fact about yourself?”
A: “I know it’s hard to tell from my appearance how crazy talented I am on the court but my first love was basketball. Not only am I the biggest Knicks fan on planet Earth, but I also played some college ball as well. I’m always down to pull up and hoop so have your lunch money ready.”
