As I walked nervously into the interview room,
Heart racing and palms sweaty with apprehension and gloom,
I could feel the weight of the momentous occasion,
A chance to prove myself and make a lasting impression.
The interviewer greeted me with a friendly smile,
And I tried my best to compose myself, and not show my inner turmoil,
But as soon as the first question came, my mind went blank,
I stuttered and stumbled, trying to come up with a frank
Answer that would impress and showcase my knowledge,
But all I could think of were half-formed ideas and vague pledges,
To do my best and work hard, but I knew that wasn't enough,
I needed to show my brilliance and demonstrate my stuff.
The interviewer looked at me expectantly, waiting for a reply,
And I could feel my anxiety rising, my confidence starting to die,
But then, like a switch being flipped, my brain kicked into gear,
And I started to answer the questions, without any fear.
I spoke of my passions, my dreams, and my skills,
With each answer, I could feel the interviewer's thrills,
My confidence grew, and so did my conviction,
That I was the perfect candidate for this position.
I spoke of my creativity, my ability to think outside the box,
Of my love for learning, and my determination to never stop,
Of my passion for innovation, and my desire to make a change,
To use my skills and talents to create something new and strange.
The interviewer listened intently, nodding in approval,
And I could feel my excitement and pride starting to spiral,
For the first time in my life, I felt like I was truly shining,
And that my future was bright, with endless possibilities defining.
The interview ended, and I left feeling elated,
My mind replaying the questions, answers, and moments celebrated,
But it wasn't until later that I realized the significance,
Of this small moment, and its lasting influence.
For in that interview, I learned something profound,
That brilliance is not just what you know, but also what you sound,
Your ability to think outside the box and take risks,
And the courage to stand up for your beliefs and fix.
It was a small moment that led me to a big revelation,
That success is not just about achieving personal gratification,
But also about making an impact on the world around you,
And leaving a positive mark on everything you do.
That interview changed my perspective and values,
And taught me to value creativity and new solutions,
To always challenge myself to think beyond the norm,
And to embrace the power of being different, and not conform.

To use my skills to solve problems and spark transformation,
And to always strive for excellence and growth,
In everything I do, and in every path I troth.
