Elder Manley, known professionally as Jahfeeil, is a singer and songwriter based in the United States. Jahfeeil is the founder of Immanley Entertainment Group713. He was born in Los Angeles, California. Jahfeeil pursued his education at HAPVA High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas, and later at Phyllis Wheatley High School. He has been credited with numerous achievements and awards in the R&B music scene. He started his career in Houston, Texas, as a musician and singer.

Angeles, California. Born on May 19, 1967, his musical inclination found its roots in a family of

musicians and singers. From a young age, Jahfeeil was immersed in the world of music, even taking on

the role of lead singer in a Gospel Quartet Group organized by one of his uncles during his 5Th grade years . His musical evolution continued as he picked up the guitar a year later, setting the stage for a lifelong relationship with the art form.

The formalization of Jahfeeil's musical education took shape during his time at HSPVA High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas, from 1982 to 1983, followed by his tenure at Phillis Wheatley High School from 1984 to 1985. These formative years laid the foundation for Jahfeeil’s deep understanding of the nuances of music, transforming it into a medium for conveying real-life experiences and emotional tensions. Jahfeeil’s career officially kicked off in 1983, leading to the formation of his first band, “The 2B Continued Band,” in 1987, a funk ensemble that showcased his diverse musical influences. His journey through R&B and Soul genres was marked by performances across diverse venues, but a pivotal moment occurred in December 1997 when tragedy struck with the passing of his mother. This profound loss led Jahfeeil to step away from music, a hiatus that lasted until 2017 when he made a triumphant return with the soul-stirring hit, “Beautiful.” Fast forward to 2021, and Jahfeeil’s rendition of Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day” created ripples in the music scene, breathing new life into his career. Songs like “Take It Off” and “4Ever” followed, solidifying Jahfeeil’s position as a prolific songwriter and performer. Notably, his collaboration with DJ Michael Watts, the CEO of Swishahouse Records, on a remix of “Take It Off” added another dimension to his discography. The spectrum of Jahfeeil's artistry spans genre-bending masterpieces like “Just A Friend,” a cross-over marvel blending old-school R&B with classic hip-hop sensibilities.
