Mountain Dew Soundbites That Never Were

I tried to pitch some ideas for a Mountain Dew Soundbite commercial for like Spotify and what not, and these are some of the ideas that I had written down. I personally thought they would be good, but we’ll see if Mountain Dew picks it up and if they do like it, then you heard it here first!

The To Dew List

[Sound of a can of Mountain Dew being opened]

Me: Ahh, there's nothing like the refreshing taste of Mountain Dew. And as someone who loves to try new things, I've been making a list of all the different flavors I want to try. I call it my "To Dew List."

[Sound of paper rustling]

Me: Let's see, we've got regular Mountain Dew, Code Red, Voltage, Baja Blast, Game Fuel, Maui Burst, Frost Bite, Major Melon, and Spark.

[Pause]

Me: Wait a minute, is "Spark" even a real flavor? Oh well, I'll add it to the list anyway.

[Sound of pencil scribbling on paper]

Me: And of course, I can't forget about the limited edition flavors like Liberty Brew and Southern Shock.

[Pause]

Me: Hmm, I wonder if I should add Mountain Dew-flavored ice cream to the list. Or maybe I've just had too much caffeine.

[Chuckle]

Me: But seriously, Mountain Dew has so many amazing flavors to choose from. And with my "To Dew List," I'll never run out of new ones to try.

[Sound of can being opened again]

Me: So, what's on your "To Dew List?" Don't have one yet? Well, grab a Mountain Dew and start making one. Trust me, it's worth it.

[Sound of can being tipped back for a sip]

Me: Mmm, delicious. That's one more flavor to check off my list.

[Sound of can being set down]

Me: This is going to be a long list. But hey, someone's got to dew it.

[Chuckle]

Announcer: Mountain Dew. For those who thirst for more.

Me: What about a Fruit Cake Flavor?

Much A Dew About Nothing

Part one-

[Sound of lute playing in the background]

Greetings, good people of the world. 'Tis I, William Shakespeare, the bard of Avon. Today, I bring you tidings of a refreshing elixir that has captured my fancy. It goes by the name of Mountain Dew.

As I quaffed this fizzy drink, I was struck with a sudden inspiration.

And so, without further a-Dew, let me regale you with a few of my sonnets;

Ahem.

"Much A Dew About Nothing,

I say, what a jolly good drink!

'Tis perfect for quenching thirsts,

And putting one's mind at ease, I think!"

[Sound of gulping]

"The Taming of the Dew,

A tale of a drink untamed.

But fear not, gentle friends,

For Mountain Dew shall forever be claimed!"

[Sound of triumphant music]

So there you have it, good people. Join me in raising a glass of Mountain Dew to the joys of life, love, and laughter. And remember, when in doubt, just add Dew.

Scooby Doo: Roh, Pitch Black Mountain Dew.

[Continues slurping]

Shaggy Rogers: Oh the citrus flavored drink, that gives you more energy during the darkest times. I wonder if it can give us courage? Scoob, can I have a swig?

Scooby Doo: Yeah here.

Ghost: [Drinking, slurping and big burp]

Scooby Doo: Good one Shaggy!

Shaggy Rogers: That wasn’t me Scoob…

[Ghost sounds]

Scooby Doo: Rikes!!!

[Running away sound effect]

Announcer: Don't forget to get yourself a Pitch Black Mountain Dew-by Doooo!
